My oblivious ass would always be concerned about misreading the situation lol. Like do you need to sit by yourself and stew about your shit performance right now (meaning someone talking in your ear would only make it worse)? or would having a teammate throw their arm around you and tell you platitudes about how shit happens bring you back from the depths?
I guess that’s why Team Bonding time is important; so you can probably read your guys’ specific needs and whatnot.
