Lets start with these god awful Blazers announcers

Crimdal

29 | 12 hours ago

Blazer fans love Lamar, but he’s been tough to listen to this year for me.

Ilikesporks_

13 | 12 hours ago

that’s the color commentator right? i swear he wasn’t this bad with the old play by play commentator

Crimdal

9 | 12 hours ago

Ya he was good in the past, idk what’s up this year. I speculate he is upset about contract negotiations or something. I think Dundon wanted to get rid of him but he was under contract for another year. Feels like he is trying to get fired.

PretendMethod7

7 | 10 hours ago

this the guy that went viral for going off about the Grinch?

dofun400

13 | 11 hours ago

Facts. It’s not even the homerism either. That’s normal. They’re just uncharismatic and poorly researched.

There had to have been at least 10 instances where they called a Spurs player the wrong name tonight or just fired off some statistic that was just blatantly wrong.

DerrickWhiteMVP

Dude was complaining about flopping with Deni on the team lol

TheSeekerShaman

2 | 9 hours ago

The first half was a grind to watch as there were 41 free throws in that first half

TheScrote1

-6 | 11 hours ago

Deni don’t flop, he drives right into people which is probably more annoying tho

Objective-Product361

13 | 11 hours ago

In fairness, Deni wasn’t flopping this game.

DAME WAS!

Crimdal

1 | 9 hours ago

Deni hasn’t been flopping or whining for calls very much this year, but he was doing it a lot last year second half of the season.

BillPaxton4eva

-2 | 9 hours ago

I’m not sure why people think that having a single player on a team that flops sometimes means that fans somehow don’t have permission to recognize that opponents do it sometimes too. Weird take.

neat_narwhal

4 | 11 hours ago

Competitive_Soft6547

helps when they’re also in the 2nd night of a b2b like us so it’s actually an even field

102WOLFPACK

53 | 12 hours ago

I’m at the game, and both teams looked EXHAUSTED to start. Spurs settled in much quicker, but the missing Blazers depth was definitely showing

Street_Commercial_26

11 | 12 hours ago

Yeah coming off a long road trip into a B2B just equals bad basketball. Got OKC OKC back to back next too. November Blazers schedule is ridiculous.

New-Association-3410

MrBuckBuck

Poor Donovan Clingan is still haunted by the playoffs experience against Victor Wembanyama.

He will have to utilize himself better.

We miss Ja so badly too.

Edit: Also Timelord was missing (rest)

Charlie_Wax

75 | 12 hours ago

Clingan is a very good center, but he hasn’t found any solutions to Wemby yet. Time Lord would’ve helped tonight, but not enough to flip the outcome.

IntrepidStruggle91

50 | 12 hours ago

I honestly don’t see how the Blazers can beat this team in the post season if they face each other.

It’s not even a flashy win for Spurs. It was just a dismantling.

TheScrote1

-18 | 11 hours ago

I’m not rooting for injuries but at least once ever 3 years injuries play a major factor in the playoff picture. Wouldnt be shocking at all if Wemby missed a playoff run or two in the next decade

Objective-Product361

10 | 10 hours ago

OKC fans used to say that shit. Be careful, karma is a bitch.

WhoreyMatthews

1 | 4 hours ago

If Wemby is hitting his 3s like he was tonight there’s just no guarding him.

WD51

18 | 12 hours ago

Neither of the Blazers centers today can be that effective against Wemby defensively and theyre too slow on rotations against the Spurs perimeter players if not put on Wemby which led to some late closeouts and Spurs 3s.

Timelord would have been the best option if he was healthy.

paddiction

5 | 11 hours ago

Yang Hansen’s time to shine

TheSeekerShaman

1 | 9 hours ago

I saw the Blazers had Clingan on Castle quite a bit. Clingan was sagging off Castle staying in and near the paint and daring him to shoot.

The Spurs at one point ran 3 Castle DHOs in a row and it worked each time as Clingan was too far down to contest or recover. I was hoping to see them do it 10 times in a row it was working so well.

Area51_Spurs

84 | 11 hours ago

The real impressive stat line was Tarris Reed with 4 personal fouls in 8 minutes. lol.

He’s now averaging at least 12 personal fouls per 36 to go along with 20+ boards and like 15 points.

Dude is averaging a triple double. He needs to be starting.

carelesssportsfan89

23 | 11 hours ago

tarris is such a stud he needs more minutes for sure

Area51_Spurs

29 | 11 hours ago

Yea.

He just isn’t great with positioning and needs to learn how to keep from getting called for fouls.

It will all come with more minutes as he’s able to relax a bit and get more comfortable.

He has a knack for being in the right place for rebounds though. He’s got that gene where he’s always in the right spot for boards.

Hes going to be the real deal.

Money_Oil_6814

7 | 11 hours ago

More reason to play him over Kornet. His rookie mistakes will slowly go away the more he plays.

bRoShutUpPleaseee

49 | 12 hours ago

Oh what a luxury to have your star play under 30 mins a night

thedotapaten

-14 | 11 hours ago

Spurs subs was bitching last playoff because Wemby plays under 30 mins too much with reasoning of he getting used to play 36+ minutes in playoff

Objective-Product361

53 | 12 hours ago

29 points on 13 shots, in 24 minutes is crazy work!!!

FinalFrash

34 | 11 hours ago

Pfft. Could’ve had 30 if he didn’t miss a free throw. Trade him while he still has value

ana4823

23 | 11 hours ago

29 in 24 minutes and +23. Dude clocked out with the game still on the clock.

Hungry_Effect_1479

27 | 10 hours ago

Doing this in just 24 minutes is actually absurd because efficiency like 85.5% TS on nearly 30 points shouldn’t even be legal against NBA defenses and the coaching staff must be thrilled to manage his minutes so easily.

There’s no logic you can use with Lakers fans. I was arguing with one who legitimately believed Luka is better on defense than Wemby is on offense.

Objective-Product361

11 | 12 hours ago

Lol lakers needed a Luka 50 bomb to barely beat blazers. Wemby needed one quarter really.

The head to head of Luka vs Wemby, I worry the lakers would get blownout by the spurs by 30+.. His MVP dreams would be over.

History_Grand

12 | 11 hours ago

This actually works in Luka’s favor that Wemby has a better supporting cast.

hausitron

1 | 10 hours ago

The Spurs also needed a Wemby 50 bomb to barely beat the Mavs, who have a worse record than the Blazers. Your argument is not as good as you think.

TigerWizardDresser

Gimme the guy who took his team to the Finals last year. Luka runs out of steam every time. He never keeps up the historic pace.

CincinnatiBengalss

AuroraPo

-5 | 12 hours ago

LOL

DerrickWhiteMVP

-5 | 12 hours ago

The Luka over Wemby MVP discussion reminds me of how people really don’t value defense when they say they do. Wemby’s matched Luka’s offensive output for the most part while being a much better rebounder but Luka’s a better passer and play maker. But the striking difference is the defensive effort. Wemby is the unequivocal DPOY while matching the offensive output.

EbbRevolutionary3225

14 | 11 hours ago

Wemby doesn’t match Luka’s offensive output at all.

shortyman920

3 | 11 hours ago

Wemby is near unstoppable on offense sometimes and is generally credible. But he doesn’t close to matching what Luka does on offense bud. Luka makes offense appear out of thin air. And creates easy looks for teammates cuz he draws double and triple teams. He’s a better scorer and far better facilitator.

Livid-Cardiologist94

Luigi_Lauro

Honestly if I need to win a championship, I’m taking Luka, but Wemby is a close second.

Zephy25

9 | 9 hours ago

Luka got to the Finals once so far and averaged 29/9/5.5 with 1.9 steals (lost 1-4)

Wemby already matched that Finals appearance and averaged 26/11/2.7 with 3.6 blocks (lost 1-4)

Wemby has gone exactly as far as Luka in the playoffs lol

Faisalfikry

23 | 9 hours ago

Celtics were alot better than the knicks. Like by a significant margin

popoxalikhs

13 | 9 hours ago

Also, the spurs team is so much better than that mavs team…

Last year every spurs fan was shouting how good/perfect/future dynasty/current dynasty the team is and after wemby shits the bed in the finals (yes that atrocious performance is in our heads wemby) and Luka is considered a better player than him they go straight up discrediting Wemby’s teammates

RealPrinceJay

Knicks were on an all-time heater though

thewinslowleach

0 | 4 hours ago

Those Celtics could maybe pick up 1 game on the 2026 Knicks

Weary_Cabinet_8123

0 | 4 hours ago

This isn’t even remotely true and there’s really no data that proves your point, probably the exact opposite if you actually break down the numbers. That spurs team last year would’ve 4-0’d Lukas Mavs easy, he was playing injured against the Cs.

Kxden-R

0 | 5 hours ago

Wembys had a better team then Lukas ever had

ICEtoAshes

-4 | 7 hours ago

Wemby did it much quicker than Luka. In Luka’s third season when he was Wemby’s age he lost in the first round.

Luka didn’t make the finals until his 4th playoff appearance. He lost in the first round his 1st and 2nd trip.

Wemby did it in his first playoff trip.

Nice_Cash_7000
