Players with the most 40-point games in NBA history:
1.) Wilt Chamberlain (271)2.) Michael Jordan (173)3.) Kobe Bryant (122)4.) James Harden (107)5.) Elgin Baylor (88)T-6.) Allen Iverson (79)T-6.) LeBron James (79)T-8.) Oscar Robertson (77)T-8.) Stephen Curry (77)
I wonder how many more 40 point games Curry could’ve had in his NBA career right now if he didn’t sit out so many 4th quarters during Warriors blowout wins during their peak dynasty era from 2014 - 2019.
And what if he had his current whistle over his entire career!
Easily would be in triple digits but probably still trails MJ
As a warriors fan I’m glad he didn’t have to put so many more miles on his body so he could still be as strong as he is now. Maybe it all is a wash in the end if he would have missed more games from playing a lot more
For sure he’s going to be at #6 before season’s over and a good chance taking over Harden at #4 before retirement.
He probably won’t catch up to harden.
You think he has a good chance of having 30 more 40 point games? Assuming Harden never has another 40 point game, which seems a bit unlikely
Ok, “good” may be a bit much, but I’ll say it’s at least a decent chance. At the rate he’s going and if Yaxel keeps improving, he’ll have more of them these 2 seasons to try getting 1 more ring.
15-20 40pt games if he maintain his level of play in the next 2 seasons
Hardens pushing it, that’s 30 more. He’ll surely make top 5 though, not sure if LBJ has 9 of them left in the tank
yeah nah
I bet he will be in top-5 by the end of his career.
Steph could get into the top 5
And passed Lebron tonight, he has the most 40 point games for 35+ year olds. 16…..Lebron 2nd at 15.
Look at Curry man
So inspirational
Mama, there goes that man
Lebron is not chasing Jordan he’s trying to run away from Curry.
Curry just passed him for most 40 point games for 35++

The second comment is so funny because no one agrees.
The Warriors and Curry have been the NBA show the last 12 years. They win the ratings game
What a fucking insane comment. I love basketball but once Steph retires I don’t think I’d watch anywhere near as much. I watch other teams and yeah it’s fine and all but it doesn’t even come close to watching a Warriors/Steph game. It literally feels like two different sports with the motion and movement of the warriors compared to teams where it’s just isos, pnr and kickouts on drives all game long.
His whole page is dedicated to hating on the Warriors and he has a Warriors flair LMAO mental illness is real
I lost brain cells reading those comments.
Elgin Baylor and Iverson so underrated
I love Steph
Man reminds me of prime Steph 2016
