Wasn’t able to find conclusive data around this but guessing this has got to be at least a 5 highest FGA difference where the lower FGA team won…

In his final year with us we didn’t play Looney as much, especially in the playoffs. Even though the Rockets were going double bigs the Warriors couldn’t turn to Looney cause he wasn’t playing well. Looney took offense to that. It was a mutual split.

I think this is a pattern in most games. The team missing more shots (which makes them less likely to win) is also taking more shots. One of those counter intuitive stats.

Well just taking last night’s games as an example: half the teams that lost took more shots. By no means a strong correlation, but happens more than people realize.
