I wanted Morez Johnson but pretty pleased with Aday so far

goatmarino

81 | 14 hours ago

I wanted yax then mara. Cant complain with the results. Bro was supposed to be a project and hes already an elite back up center

Longjumping_One_9164

56 | 13 hours ago

Unbelievable that he fell to us and in a year where Chet has again been ruled out.

Entirely plausible that iHart / Mara / jWill / Sorcerer big man line up could physically dominate the Spurs.

Its going to be incredibly interesting, but if SGA, AJ, McCain and Caruso all stay healthy it isnt over for the season.

The Mavs should have taken Mara.

lemanruss4579

5 | 8 hours ago

Not sure now is the time to be saying this after Morez just had a ¹⁷⁄₁₈ double double.

wooIIyMAMMOTH

3 | 5 hours ago

Rez is two years younger, is ramping up from injury, and just had a ¹⁷⁄₁₈ game with 10 OREBs in 24 minutes. The biggest indication that he’s going to be great is that Dusty May knows all three of these dudes and chose Rez over Yaxel and Aday.

i’m officially looking at ihart for the raps, i think he could be expendable sooner rather than later and he would fit us so perfectly

butterbeancd [OP]

3 | 11 hours ago

I’ve been thinking about what teams could be a trade partner for iHart, because I think it’s inevitable he gets traded. I don’t think it’ll happen this season, but if Mara keeps this up, I think it probably happens next offseason. The Raptors make a lot of sense as a partner, but it would be interesting to see what a trade would look like. The Thunder would want to take back very little money.

shangalang69

1 | 11 hours ago

yeah it’d likely have to be a 3 way trade where raptors send poeltl to a tanking team with picks and get ihart in return, okc get a small salary wing and picks or something

This is how I approach every draft now as a Thunder fan.

Why bother studying for the test when I can just wait and be excited to copy the homework of the smartest guy in the room? I’ll make my draft opinions after I determine if Presti wants them or not…

It’s too bad we only got one year of mara yaxel and morez at Michigan! It sure was fun to watch.

OwnVisual5772

17 | 14 hours ago

Love Chet. But its so refreshing to watch a Center dominate the paint like this.

CuriousG-S-M

36 | 14 hours ago

Maybe you need to actually watch more Thunder games! Chet has been a PF for 3 years! Just stop it!

kooj80

17 | 13 hours ago

There’s been a lot of lineups where they play him at center…

And even if someone’s a PF, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t dominate the paint. Ex: Giannis, LeBron, Zion, Randle, Zach Randolph

ExpressionAlone5204

6 | 13 hours ago

Right like his position magically shrunk him

And to be fair he was much better at offense his rookie year

Mara isn’t replacing Chet, he’s replacing Hart.

sleepyguy-

8 | 13 hours ago

100%. Which is totally fine. If they move hart and carusos contracts it opens the door for us to keep Ajay which we absolutely need to do.

adamcmorrison

1 | 4 hours ago

Ajay is 24 and absolutely ballin. Def agree have to try and keep.

Thunder rookie Aday Mara in the win: 18 points (8-10 FG, 1-1 from 3), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks
