this is why you never take less money tbh, just makes it more advantageous for the team to get rid of you

Zero chance he wasn’t aware this was a possible or even likely outcome. He gets to stay in LA or head to a contender that likely couldn’t sign him outright during FA

He’s a perfect player for the nuggets. Instantly replaces cam Johnson in the starting lineup, or provides a spark with the second unit

Who even knows if he cares about that though

He really just seems to love being in Los Angeles. He was super outspoken about how much he loved being here and would always throw up the “LA” hand sign any chance he got. When he signed with the Clippers I kinda just assumed he wanted to stay so bad that he was just gonna take the better offer between either team.

I still think even if he got traded to the Cavs or the Spurs or something he’d be kinda upset

Or OKC.

Sexton for Rui? (In my dreams)

December 15th I think is when newly signed players are tradable

Could do a lebron and made helicopter taxi as part of his contract

Can you imagine how good the 2019 Lakers would have been with Brook? Pelinka/Magic are idiots

What would it take to get Anthony Black?

Nah I’d rather keep Jared Leto

yeah probably only getting him as a buyout option, which seems unlikely but hey a boy can dream

I think they will be a bit better when Ingram comes back

The effects of the new lottery rule, now you have to root for them to be mid lol

It’s not a youth thing, he’s just a textbook good-but-not-great player. No reason to build around him, even if you’re in a spot without many draft assets

He’s a third option at best and an undersized defender, which is something rebuilding teams don’t really need. I love the guy and I hope he finds his place in the league (I really do think he could be a core part of a championship team), but realistically it isn’t here

Nah he can never be number 1 or 2. Dog shit.

He’s in keatons way

Fuck off

I would be over the moon if they accepted our limited assets of 2 2nd round picks and one swap.

He definitely was while on the Mavs

I would say he is one of the best POA defenders in league.

He’s already better than Jake based on the fact he is a lob threat alone

A desperate Magic team maybe, but not sure what the package would be realistically

So is whatever assets they would get back for him

I kind of feel bad for him. He’s now stuck trying to carry a team with no future. But he’s also being paid a shit ton of money to do it so I don’t care anymore.

People come to watch the opposing teams lol

Not true, he should return soon

He’ll be playing this month. He is now practicing 5v5s

You see r/NBA, we need that pick to be top three so the Celtics 28 pick is locked out of the top three.

Y’all that eager for relegation zone picks?

This draft class is kinda bad. You are just as likely to hit big on a middling pick next year. But if some older class 2028 players opt in for 2027 than yeah.

i’d bring him off the bench if we got him, help with bench scoring and rebounding

Honestly perfect for the Clippers, probably top good to be true but exactly what you look for. A first and a post hype sleeper

Hell no.Scoot and Wagler would block each others for minutes… And Garland is already the starter. It makes no sense to gamble on that

Please lmk, thanks

hmm youre right. maybe 2 seconds, we have a 2028 Kings second, thats basically a FRP

It’s been a rough start to the season for my man.  Just look at last night’s box score

he’s too good to be a 3rd center though

Idk if you watch Scoot play or not, but he doesn’t have much value rn, even if he’s still young and could develop more.

Id be so down for DJJ/Scoot straight up. lets get Cronin and … Lawrence Frank(? his replacement?) on the phone

Brook is better than Anything we have backup C wise. I’m fine with Zaire and Jake. I just don’t trust Jake to stay consistent. He started hot last year too and then fell off.

youre really stbborn on this aint you
