Thunk he plays mostly the 1 - great distributor, really good at crossing everyone up, not afraid to sacrifice his own body to make a play. Really improves the vision of everyone around him.

I say this as someone who likes to think outside the box. If Pat Riley can still do it at his age I’d give Jesus Christ a shot.

One of the reasons the Kings are in the hell that they’re in is that Lavine, and DEFINITELY Sabonis are untradeable. What other team is made better by trading for Sabonis? Even BEFORE factoring in contract, and players you’d have to deal. I kinda went on a rant the other night about him.
One of the truisms i’ve learned over the years is that terrible defenders that have never played for a decent team can suddenly become passable when they’re moved to a contender.
It’s not true for all players, but it happens way more often than not.

I was watching that game last night and it makes me wonder how anyone can criticize the way Acuff is playing. I’m sure they’re trying to build trade value for their vets but at this point you just need to sit them and develop those young guys. Absolutely sickening to watch a team play like that especially on the defensive end.
