I have a McRoberts post in the chamber

This is not talked about enough

He’s one of the only people I’ll argue with strangers about on the internet

The way someone talks about him is always a great barometer for whether they actually like basketball.

Source?

Thanks for that mate

Who is ur math teacher sir

Congratulations you missed the point and contributed nothing 😃👍

Multiple friendships ended in my league when a guy agreed to trade Westbrook to two different owners at once. As far as I know two of the team owners still no longer speak and the guy who didn’t get Westbrook doesn’t speak to the commissioner anymore.

Dog this is my first year in fantasy I let my friend talk me into it with no prior knowledge other than to take stat padders. I could use some of that crack rn lmao

gotta punt the fg percentage and turnovers…Joker peak seasons are like the upgraded version of

In a punt FG/TO team, definitely. Overall #1 that season was KD.

I won that year. The triple doubles give you insane scores lol

And 2k17 westbrook haunted the dreams of young mycareer players.

Peak athleticism and one of the biggest grudges in sports history

it was like watching spiderman wrestling. like he’s got super powers but he’s gotta hold back so nobody finds out.

Does the NBA really test people? He’s got crazy genetics and athleticism, but that doesn’t really mean that he couldn’t have been on gear

Feels weird that he’s retired in this age of vets that keep redefining old age

How did you conclude no? It very well could be yes lol

If not for that hand injury his longevity would be insane.

And steroids too.

And cocaine. Don’t forget about the cocaine

/s

I remember thinking he was an inefficient shot chucker with a style of play that would never win a championship

The three from 35 against the nuggets was special

I just watched the Denver game live just because he had been so incredible in the clutch that I wanted to see if it would just happen. Was not disappointed.

As an Orlando OKC fan, those Orlando matchups were so good. Some ho gave me mono and I missed the 3OT game that one season and I was PISSED. All my dudes were there without me.

I was at the Denver game. That was the one where Russ broke the triple double record. I bought tickets a week or two ahead as I forecasted it would happen that night. It sure was worth it. I have the record and the winning shot recorded and saved still. It was one of the funnest things I’ve ever experienced!

clicked the user link and it says he’s banned???

Early yet, but 2027 Luka (38.⁵⁄₈.¹⁄₈.0/1.⁸⁄₀.8 on 68.5TS%) is looking crazy 8 games in

Shoutout also:

2026 pre-injury Jokic (29.⁹⁄₁₂.¹⁄₁₁.¹⁄₁.⁴⁄₀.8 on 71.4TS% his first 31 games)

2024 pre-injury Embiid (36.0/11.⁴⁄₅.⁸⁄₁.¹⁄₁.8 on 65.0 TS% his first 33 games)

Edit: Stat stuffing in a slightly different way but 2024 pre-injury, pre-Siakam trade Hali was special too (32 games): 24.²⁄₄.³⁄₁₂.⁷⁄₁.²⁄₀.7 (only 2.6 turnovers) on 63.3TS%, bro was moving like a peak Steph/Nash hybrid for a hot minute

Jordan 88

If he shot 10-24 with 5 turnovers, he’d improve his FG% and lower his TO rate.

It’s kinda funny how ppl are saying shai needs to carry his bum roster with all the injuries this year but his roster is still better than what Russ had that year carrying them to a 6th seed in a stacked west (maybe individual player wise they had better players but that fit/roster construction was truly horrific for the modern nba)

He won because of the buzzer beaters he hit in meaningful regular season games

And it’s also impressive looking at his stats with full context. How he averaged double digit assists and made the playoffs with that OKC roster is an unbelievable achievement by itself

Casual take.
