Celtics fans 🤝 Sixers fans

“this is stupid”

It’s still good they just do to many shows

The clips are hilarious tho

Jeff was on the Celtics and is great friends with Jayson. One of the only podcasts Tatum has joined for a show

Ridiculous comment.

He was drafted 3rd. Ain’t a single third pick in history gonna be happy coming off the bench

Jaylen was incredibly raw as a prospect. He was a tools guy that you hope can put it together (and he did)

Tatum was way more polished as a rookie, on offense in particular.

Kind of makes sense though. Brown was a bad shooter out of college. Tatum was a good shooter. Much easier to slot him into a lineup. Plus the Cs had Avery and Jae when Brown was a rookie. They weren’t great but were kind of locked into those roles. Both gone before Tatum’s rookie year. I can’t imagine that really stuck with JB. Seems almost meaningless.

Coz he wasn’t as good lmao.

It was JTs defense that got him a starting slot in his rookie year. He learned Brads system super fast and was great at switching on defense

He has lmao.

“Jet you go over there” 🤣🤣🤣

With his right hand

I mean if 1 is too many than sure. But everyone with eyes sees it. It’s just morons (Celtics Tabum fanboys) who don’t.

Bots who don’t watch games and treat the NBA like a reality TV show

also colorists

I agree. I think he should have been first team all nba last year. He is an elite on ball defender and great isolation scorer. The problem is the guy they are comparing him too is also a fantastic on ball defender. Great isolation scorer, Elite rebounder, Elite passer and elite off ball defender too….

In weird abstract terms, I thought of them as our spear and our shield. Jaylen was the guy you can point in one direction and say “go”. Jayson is the one who can bear the majority force of the opponent’s gameplan.

Tell that to your boy Jaylen Brown

you guys dont think JB is a superstar??

Well then a solid amount of people know nothing whatsoever about basketball. You may be right, but so am I!

Not sure what’s more worn out – the JB/JT beef, or the JT is 19 jokes

Exactly bro, JT is only 19. Y’all just wait til he hits his prime!

Tatum’s clutch stats are dramatically better than Browns in both the regular season and playoffs, like it’s not even close

And one of them has the record for most points in a game 7

You just don’t watch tatum. JB plays way more like Kobe than Tatum. Yes, Tatum is a Kobe stan, but he has been the teams offensive initiator and best playmaker since for nearly his entire career. Tatum also plays better off ball and through actions than JB.

I know you feel this. But if you check the data, you’re just wrong. Tatum is in an elite tier at game winners. One of the best in the league. And Brown has bad crunch time stats.

They’re both good players. Tatum is a full tier ahead.

The problem in this scenario, there’s like a 25% possibility that Jaylen simply dribbles it off his foot and turns it over.

Tatum is statistically the most clutch guy in the nba.. most game winners in last 6 years.. second best percentages in the clutch since the play by play era… You just make things up as arguements for brown.. Even if tatums scoring is streaky, he is the most complete player in the nba and does everything at a high level. When he isnt scoring he is still a huge threat on the floor.

Me when I only watched the 2022 finals

Agreed

In one series ?

He’s never been a better player than JT be for real. He had a better series but come on, there’s no way you watched that series and thought Brown was a better player than Tatum.

In that same series Tatum averaged more points, rebounds and assists, and was the focus of Dallas entire defensive strategy. Which allowed Brown the freedom to cook up

Even when Tatum shot an awful 6-for-22 in Game 2,he still had 18 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists in the win.

The voters were too busy sucking off luka. thats the only reason brown won FMVP.

Tatums entire first finals he was playing with two different injuries on his shooting arm.. And he was doubled the entire finals vs the mavs who left jaylen brown wide open to stop tatum and it failed.. “Lights are brightest” tatum led the team in every stat. Defended the other teams centers to kill the mavs entire offensive action, played PG on one end and center on the other.

Iggy > Steph confirmed

What? Tatum is already better than Brown, I’m confused by this comment. the only year Brown was better was probably last since Tatum was injured all of it lol, we are comparing a top 10 player with a top 25 one

He was also completely robbed of those awards na people quickly forget he led the team in all counting stats while being the 1st option and ran the offense. He was inefficient but Brown wasn’t that much more efficient and won the awards on narrative not impact

Bucks fans especially should know not to question tatum. He has dog walked you plenty.

Literally would be the first option on the damn All Star team

Sure but one won the fmvp.

Tatum is a jack of all trade and a master of none. There is nothing he does at an elite level. He’s not an elite shooter. No elite ball handling, passing, playmaking, footwork, driving, etc. He does a lot of things well but not elite. Brown is an elite athlete

Tatum just shoots 100 step back 3s.

Tatum can’t take over a game. I’m not a fan of Kobe or players like him, but to be that talented and skilled and you’re always deferring because your shot isn’t on today is not a star player to me. Tatum was invisible in 2 finals, that’s a stain on his career. Brown only looked better in those moments. I don’t think either one is better than the other, but Tatum definitely doesn’t clear Brown.

Iggy is better than Steph?

They can’t answer this, he was better because they think Tatum  Is cuter than brown.

Tatum was the better player in the series.

Are you actually trying to make an argument that a 5 game stretch defines their entire careers and talent as basketball players?

Tatum led the Celtics in points rebounds and assists. He just shot like shit (not like JB shot much better) and JB had hype moments and aura guarding Luka.

It is now I guess

Yeah if Sixers are healthy entering playoffs they are going to run through the east

I mean, you guys could play worse and just outshoot us. It’s one game I could see us losing.
