Lakers send Bronny James to G League
The Lakers have assigned guards Cameron Carr and Bronny James Jr. to the Coachella Valley Lakers ahead of the team’s G League season opener on Friday.
Source
Too good for the G league, not good enough for the NBA. As of now.
Is he too good for the G league? He hasn’t exactly excelled there in the past.
Now that’s just false
In what way is it false?
Cause he averaged 22 year one and 16 year 2 in less mins and extremely efficient
Had a couple of 30 bombs, with one being a 39 point game. If you’re saying over a full G League season I’d need to check his averages but IMO he has excelled there in games
Y’all down voting this man when whole time you’re being misled by people posting the wrong stats lol https://stats.gleague.nba.com/player/1642355/?Season=2025-26&SeasonType=Regular%20Season
McClung special
Averaged 32 a game last year and is now playing for Marc Gasol overseas. Just tremendously difficult to break through in the NBA.
It’s crazy how much better NBA caliber bench players are at exploiting individual player weaknesses than those who aren’t. If you just cannot play in an NBA defensive rotation you’re borderline unplayable in even bench configurations. Dudes like Bones Hyland can drop 30 on a given night in a real NBA game but has to ride benches because he cannot pass or defend in real minutes
Exactly, every nba team already has multiple guys that can score at a high level. So no g-leaguer is getting consistent nba mins for his scoring. If they can’t shoot at a high level, AND defend at a high level, they won’t last long in the nba
Look at Cam Reddish. Unreal natural ability. Can’t fuckin play NBA basketball and Bronny doesn’t have any skills or physical attributes that are remotely attractive to a team not beholden to his royal baldness.
It’s because he’s just a scorer, but he’s not good enough to play at the NBA level like he does at lower levels and brings nothing else to the table. There’s not a shortage of one dimensional scorers in the NBA, but they’re all much better than McClung.
Caruso said it the best. To go from the G-League to the NBA you need to be willing to be the janitor. Teams are not looking for another scoring star in the G-League.
So someone doing 15 PPG with 42% 3PT and playing out of his mind on defense would be more valuable than a scoring 1st option averaging 30 PPG
If you suck yes
I mean hes definitely better than most of the bench players in the league. Its that teams are unwilling to bench scorers off the bench and want defence soaking up minutes for starts to come back on and score.
About time he and his team realized this. Probably making twice as much playing in spain tax free
50% tax in Spain
American athletes still have to pay US taxes when playing overseas.
McClung was MVP at least, respect the props champion
Being MVP of the G doesn’t mean what you think it does.
And being good at g league means shit even if bronny was actually good
Please don’t compare Bronny to McClung
He is not too good for the G.
He’s not too good for G league
Right? Someone like Dalton Knect is too good for the G-League. I doubt Bronny would even stand out there, but we’ll see.
He is not too good for G league
I don’t think you know what too good for g league means
Bronny averaged 9.5 points in 30.8 minutes a game on 35.6% shooting in the G-League last year.
Edit: comments correctly pointed out these are the stats for the Tip Off Tournament, the first 6 games of the G-League season. Bronny’s regular season stats listed separately (14 games) are better: 15.6 ppg on 56.4% shooting in 26 minutes.
Source: https://www.basketball-reference.com/gleague/players/j/jamesbr01d.html
You guys are referring to the tip off tournament instead of the regular season for some reason where it’s a higher sample size. In regular season he averaged 22 points and then 16 points on insanely good efficiency the next year
Even if you combine the two(tip off + regular season) the he average 19 year 1 and 14 on plus efficiency and less mins year 2
Thank you. I do not know how many times I’ve seen YouTube videos using the tip off tournament stats lmao. It’s nasty work.
I still remember when upvoted comments were saying that he would be the worst player in the G-league. He was the best or second best player on the team.
There were 5 guys on the South Bay Lakers who (in the regular season) averaged more points per game than him. Of all the guys who played as many total minutes as he did, 5 of them had a higher PER than Bronny, and 7 of them had a higher WS/48. By what metric exactly was Bronny the best or 2nd best player on the team?
This isn’t even shade, he’s 100% a decent G league player. But people are/were kidding themselves when they’d hype him up as the best player in the entire g league last year and acting like he’s good enough to be a rotation nba player.
But even that is nothing crazy for G League. Defense is soft and dudes average 30 points who are still not good enough for the NBA.
Yes cause they are pure scorers, bronny is a defensive first player. They’re have been many defensive first players that average less than 20. G league is about signs like how u are getting the buckets, Hussle, efficiency, etc. vanvleet avaeged 16 and 7, pascal averaged 18, Gabe Vincent averaged 8 and then 21 the next year. Mac mclung averaged 30 and never made the league for real. Highest ppg is not the point
So still not too good for the Gleague. That’s exactly where he should be lol
Just wondering since I’m not really familiar, which one is generally considered more competitive? That’s a huge statistical difference.
Kinda debatable depends on what you value. The tip off is a tournament but it’s at the start of the season before anything starts or matters for the playoffs. It has competitive value cause it’s a tournament vs regular games but it’s kinda like preseason. And regular season is when they are warmed up and ofc are fighting for a playoff spots
Can you post those? Feel better because that is the narrative I remember/accepted.
It won’t let me post photos in the comments but here’s the link https://stats.gleague.nba.com/player/1642355/?Season=2025-26&SeasonType=Regular%20Season
Playing 6 games. I still think his NBA experience has him up there vs players who rarely touch the big leagues.
I get what youre saying but Bronny is someone who rarely touches the big leagues, he’s played under 15 games worth of minutes his entire career
“His entire career” 2 years and some change lol
He’s going to be out of the G league within a few months. Either out of the sport altogether or playing overseas. There’s three dozen players better than him in the G league. If his last name was Robertson we wouldn’t even know who he is
Unless his dad was named Oscar
This is factually incorrect
https://www.basketball-reference.com/gleague/players/j/jamesbr01d.html
First season was slightly better but not amazing: 13.4 ppg, 27 mpg, 37.4% shooting. Both seasons he shot 21.2% on three on about 5 attempts a game. Also averaging 3.9 assists to 3.4 turnovers a game for his g-league career.
Click the Regular Season button brother
Too good for the G league
Come on now…
Just like I see myself
Ass of now.
I know he dont need the money, but wouldn’t he make a killing in China?
Yes 💪
lol. China is not wasting a roster spot for him
I would think they would based on his name alone, no? Wouldn’t he be a draw for that reason?
You’re only allowed one spot for foreigner.
You think they’ll waste it on bronny?
I know it’s a meme to clown Bronny but he would kill in the CBA
You’re allowed ONE foreign spot.
You think they’ll waste would waste it on bronny?
So once again. China doesn’t want to waste their spot for him
Too good for G league? lol he wasn’t even good enough for NCAA
That comment should not have riled you up that much my guy.
Hating on Bronny is a personality type these days
Hating on Bronny is collateral damage in the ridiculing of a farce. Bronny should have either known or said he wasn’t ready. If he didn’t he was either delusional or too young or insecure to push back on his dad. Tough spot but eventually reality sets in.
Are we really going to pretend that he wasn’t doing well last year in the G league?
Are you joking? I can’t tell. He was legit ass in the G League last year.
31 minutes per game, 9.5 pts on 36% shooting (21% from 3). 4.7 assists and 3.8 turnovers.
Bro, he was ASS.
Edit: I’m gonna leave this up and take the L. I watched two games total. I guess these stats I pulled up aren’t from their regular season?
No.
I think he’s exactly good enough for the G league.
Says who? He wasn’t even good in college.
NBA teams should get some sister teams in Euroleauge so they can send prospects that fall into this category
Except he’s not too good for g league.
I am sure there are many players that are better than Bronny in the G. Sure there many far worse than him but let’s not pretend he is the best of best G Leaguer.
Bro is coming off the bench in Gleague too wtf you talking about
18/4/4 on 64 TS% and 24 out of 25 games started. Why lie?
Miles McBride was in this same spot (too good for the G but not quite comfortable in the NBA) and he was able to put it all together. Bronny has some more physical tools than Deuce does, he’ll figure it out
horrible take. Bronny does nothing better than McBride and lesser of an athlete.
Yeah also McBride damn near averaged a 25 point triple double in the gleague
he was not even too good on g league cmon now
He should just quit and stream, GTA 6 is out in 2 weeks.
Lowkey he would probably make 10x more
And doing something he probably likes more just saying
10x more than his NBA salary would be $22 million
Except this is his last nba salary
Then why would he quit
If his content is good and he knows how to play video games yes. But, if he’s not good he’s gonna be eaten alive!
if he’s not good
plenty of top streamers are bad-to-middling (and i don’t mean by competitive scene standards, i mean by actual “total playerbase” standards) in the games they play, many viewers are looking for entertainment and not for high-quality play
Fairly certain he’s played with people like TimTheTatMan who is an incredibly popular streamer. If Bronny actually did move to streaming he could easily fall into that niche pretty quickly.
He’s diamond in r6 he ain’t bad
Honest question but do you need to be good to be a successful celebrity streamer? Like I don’t watch gaming streams but I just assumed it was mainly three types of people who succeed. Celeberties who have followings, hot girls and good gamers who are entertaining to watch.
Obviously there are some outliers but just looking from the outside in I would assume celebrities and good looking girls don’t necessarily have to be good to be a successful streamer. Of course level of celebrity matters too but we know Bronny has a massive following already.
I follow a few streamers that make money like that.
And you think Bronny James would? 😂
I don’t understand the appeal of following any streamers…
I’m sorry but they are almost surely lying about that haha
If he sells out for gambling sponsorships then yes he can clear that no problem
His father is a billionaire. I don’t think he is trying to figure how to earn as much money as possible.
How does it work when your dad is that rich? Do you get an allowance of 200k a month or something? Or just ask him for money whenever you want
u can literally do anything and get anything and money is not something you think about
You talk to your families CFO about it
Bronny got a Black card for his 16th bday.
/s I have no idea but it’s plausible.
My guess would be just one shared family credit card
You probably have a basic job to maintain your standard leisure expenses, but all your real expenses like major purchases, rent/mortage, education, healthcare, transportation, and traveling are just on your parents’ card
Depends on your parents and the type of person you are. My parents aren’t billionaires but I could just not work for the rest of my life and not get worried about things and just live a comfortable life. They have no expectations and just want me to be happy…But it would bore me to death so I got my degrees. Traveled a bit and got a job. I’m working just to not go insane. The freedom to quit at any point gives me so much joy though. It’s invigorating. I might start my own business down the line if if feel like it.
Bronny could be same. His younger bro is lazy after all.
How does it work when your dad is that rich?
Your dad pulls some strings and makes some calls and you get a multimillion dollar job you’re not really qualified for - granted it’s usually a title or consultancy job and not active NBA player but as evidence would demonstrate the latter is also possible.
Often times your dad will say fuck no, go earn your money
Depends on their setup, but with how reportedly frugal LeBron is I don’t know how much freedom he’d have.
He’s made over 5 million from the NBA. His NBA jersey had over 50-75 million in sales. He has over 7 million followers on Instagram. He can easily get sponsors and other revenue streams if he wants to after his career.
No reputable source every confirmed his jersey sales fyi. That entire number and every article referencing it traces back to “Sam” from Marca, a Spanish football magazine that barely reports on the NBA. The NBA doesn’t release jersey sales numbers.
I don’t disagree with you at all, that number just triggers my autism.
players don’t get a cut of their jersey sales, the players as a whole get a cut of total jersey sales and its evenly distributed amongst all players. So lebron james gets the same check for jersey sales as deandre ayton and all other players.
He should go into fitness influencing instead of streaming or do both. I dunno.
Did you know that his father is Lebron StreamEast James? He already set his son up basically for life by getting him a 5.4m guaranteed NBA contract. I don’t think Bronny would want to be supported by his father anymore as a grown man either…
Billionaires pass their money down and task one of the kids with the responsibility of doing everything possible to earning more billions. Haven’t you seen Succession?
Respectfully, are there seriously that many people that would watch him on a regular basis to be making that much money? Is it because of his name and/or is his content actually entertaining?
this thread has 1k upvotes. People will tune in because of who he is.
People would tune in but if they’re bored they’re not gonna tune in over and over again they’ll watch a streamer that’s more interesting. They’re not as famous but Gordon Hayward and Blake Snell get absolutely nothing when they stream
lmao no they wouldn’t.
80% of the people are trashing him because they knew he wasn’t good enough for the league.
You’d convert basically no one to watching him stream. Let alone “10x” more than he’s making now.
He already had a following during the pandemic and pretty much stopped streaming shortly after. Probably a thing to do since they were stuck in inside and Cali had shut down sports at the time.
I don’t think he needs to make any decision based on money
He has a billionaire dad he’ll be fine
I used to love basketball so much, you couldn’t have talked me out of my dream. But my dad wasn’t a billionaire.
You really think bronny is forced to play bball?
Everyone’s going to quit on November 19.
That would be better lol
Ocarina of Time is out today
He would make a shit ton of money off his name just streaming
I’ll follow him if he streams lol.
His career was “just a prank bro”.
“Wassup chat, welcome back! You know what it is, it’s ya boy Bronny…”
🤔 I’d actually watch a Bronny playing 2K stream. It’d be funny to watch him play as himself in 2K and not be playing IRL
He should get big into YouTube golf too.
Get better against people closer to your skill level so it translates. I always thought being a role player in college before going straight to the NBA absolutely killed this kid’s confidence. Absolutely insane transition. Before you hit me with the “heart condition”, that is even more of a reason he should have stayed. To rebuild his confidence, learn the game, and grow his ability before being put against the best 400 players in the world.
Yeah, Bronny was always on a 4-5 year college track just to have a chance at the NBA, heart condition or not. Once it became clear he wasn’t getting LeBron’s height, his stock as even a college prospect was hanging so heavily on his last name.
At first I assumed it was just LeBron’s ego willing to kill any chance his kid had of developing properly in order to ensure he got to play with him in the NBA before retiring.
Lately though I’ve been wondering if LeBron just knew Bronny was never good enough for the NBA so forced it before it became blindingly obvious to all with another year in college. Heart condition was just the convenient excuse to brush off how bad he looked in college.
I never sweated Lebron for using his position to get his son hired. So many execs/GMs/Coaches have done the same so it’s all fair.
But I thought Bronny story would have been neat as the Bizzaro Bron. Born with all the advantages, yet grinded through college/g-league to improve and fight for a spot as a solid role player similar to Gary Payton II. Still has a chance to get there but I don’t think this was the most effective route.
The main reason people don’t like it is because who becomes a professional athlete in professional sports is viewed as one of the last meritocratic institutions in America where you can come from any background and still be successful. It shouldn’t be this way but it is
Is it though (at least nowadays)? Pretty much every sport requires a ton of early investment now. Basketball with AAU/travel leagues, baseball with travel leagues + equipment, hockey with… everything, football, soccer etc. All of them more-or-less require a ton of money to put your kid at the right place, right time with the right people (not to mention the right genetics).
The US hasn’t had the “just pick up and go” type of youth leagues in at least a decade+.
professional sports is viewed as one of the last meritocratic institutions in America where you can come from any background and still be successful
Maybe it’s viewed that way, but I’m not so sure how true it really is. The amount of athletes in professional sports who grew up surrounded by former professional athletes is kind of crazy. There are players who seemingly came up from relatively humble beginnings but then you find out they’re uncle played professionally, or cousin, or best friend’s dad or whatever. It isn’t everyone, but a lot of professional athletes have a head start from the beginning. Even the ones who don’t have those relationships often are coming from wealthy families who can afford to get their kids expensive coaches and spend the time actually practicing. It seems like there are not very many athletes who are born out of a love of their sport, but out of their parents investments.
So many execs/GMs/Coaches have done the same so it’s all fair.
Okay, I’m… kind of baffled by that.
Examples?
Except those people didn’t go to the media and said his kid is better than a lot of NBA players.
He balled out in the g league and played pretty well the game he started. What are you talking about?
That against NBA level talent over time it would become abundantly clear he doesn’t belong.
He played 30 minutes against the Bucks and put up 17 points on 70% shooting. You guys just want to hate for no reason.
The G league is rec ball with highly athletic players. It’s not a real platform to gauge NBA readiness, just keeps guys in shape and rhythm
He did not “ball out in g league”.
I mean, it could have been more clear and he could have been worse and they’d still have drafted him. Probably just forced it early to make sure he got a few chances to be on the floor. I doubt he was sure he’d be playing by now
The problem with Bronny he doesn’t have any special traits. Hes too slow for a guard too small for a foward. Doesn’t have a shooting to be an outside threat. Doesn’t have BB IQ to be a good defender. The kid can’t even inbound the ball.
Doesn’t have BB IQ to be a good defender.
That’s pretty wild, considering his pop.
Doesn’t really matter whos the guy father is whats important is his skillset. You don’t see people arguing Magic’s son not having the same BB IQ.
Well sure, but just the amount of time they must have spent on the practice court… all the wisdom that his dad could have imparted upon the NBA experience and all that shizzle.
Bah. I have a feeling I’m looking at it from the wrong direction, tho. shrug
Get better against people closer to your skill level so it translates.
He’s not going to get better.
He ain’t 37 years old lol he could get better. He’ll never be a starter on a great team but it’s not like it’s impossible for him to be a productive role player on an alright team.
Ok Bronny this must be you lol
The kid have all the resources to basketball to be a decent player yet he can’t even have a decent shooting. If you grew up being the son of the face of the current NBA era at least have a decent shooting.
he shoots just fine.. just look at his gleague stats. It’s about getting reps and playing time, which he is never going to have the opportunity to do on the Lakers. Stop talking out of your ass when you have never even watched a game he played lol
He got his “Wish”.
Now it’s over
Is he going to grow a couple of inches in order to make that happen?
He went straight to the NBA cuz his dad made him. I think Bron legitimately didn’t know how many more years he will be playing so he said kiddo, you going up now so that I can check this box.
Agree
This is tame, was expecting he was being sent to gulag after that choked lead
Bronny James has been sent to North Korea
Get ready to learn Juche buddy
And about how dear leader doesn’t have a butthole.
What do you think the G stands for
G-League Archipelago.
He did but he won the 1v1 and respawned back into the NBA
Who the hell did he beat?
Keljin Blevins
Nepotism final boss
big nepo
He got exiled to the desert
We’re not sending you to Guantanamo
Or worse, Sacramento.
If Lakers really want their own homegrown Bron 2.0, they should send him 2-3 years in Dagestan and forget
Lakers have been sending Carr in and out of the gleague these last few days, same with Adou now. I wouldn’t make much of it. I think it’s mostly for conditioning and getting into game shape.
I don’t expect Carr to play very much until he puts on some weight (which is unfortunate) but Adou will definitely get playing time this year.
For Bronny well .. he’s definitely one of the NBA players of all time.
Is Bronny supposed to put on some height?
How is a 6-2 guy supposed to function in the NBA without a single elite guard skill?
Hang with Kyrie to learn some handles
helps to have elite son skills
Def one of the LeBron Jameses of all time
r/nba 12⁄25
Funniest shit is that Cameron Carr - a first round pick who is within two weeks of age as Bronny - was sent to the G-League in the same move, but the title just mentions Bronny lmao.
Bronny James has been one of the most controversial players in the NBA because of nepotism. Of course, he would headline something like this, considering he’s in his third year.
Year in league is not as important as age; Cameron Carr is within two weeks of age of Bronny and is a first round pick.
Bron’s other son goes to ASU i believe and sucks even more ass.
U of A
One was drafted months ago, the other one spent two entire seasons with the Lakers already. One is just starting, the other one got demoted.
Carr is a rookie…
Has Carr played yet? He was good in Summer league
Only a few possessions of garbage time so far. He had an injury the first week or so
Was wondering…. this is probably to get him into playing shape.
He was part of the -9 in 59 seconds of garbage time crew the other day.
Fuck I hope this doesn’t become another knecht situation.Being drafted by the lakers is a curse for rookies
Whats been the curse so far?
Lakers have a history of rookies who don’t live up to their potential. People blame the team for squandering and not properly preparing rookies for the NBA.
3rd year being sent to the g league when the Lakers have pretty terrible guard depth. Not great. I’m not one of those people that think Bronny wasn’t worth a late 2nd - but I do wholeheartedly believe that if he wasn’t drafted to his fathers team, he wouldn’t have half the NBA minutes he currently has
we are deep at guard, we lack in bigs
Not a Bronny fan at all but guard is by far the Lakers deepest position right now
Jfc we’re swimming in guards.
My kingdom for an NBA-starting-caliber wing.
Y’all just had Lebron James for nearly a decade bro chill
And so, Why didn’t they cut him?
Lakers have terrible depth at guard?
LukaReavesSextonGrimesThybulleCarr.
Proving once again people don’t watch they just want to spin their narrative
They actually have a logjam at guard.
How is Thybulle, their starting forward listed as part of their guard depth
Thybulle is functionally playing the 2. Luka is a forward defensively and so Thybulle guards the other team’s best guard. Ziaire is much taller and guards wings/forwards more than Thybulle.
I would also say Thybulle plays more like a guard on offense too, although it’s hard to put modern players into a box like that. He’s generally just a spot-up/movement shooter who doesn’t create on ball. He’s kind of a classic SG in that sense.
I like to think about our guard depth in terms of roles. Our backup shot creators (behind AR/Luka) are Sexton and Grimes, although Grimes is playing a lot more off ball when everyone’s healthy. He was on ball a lot when Luka sat. Thybulle and Carr are off-ball two way guards (more theoretical with Carr as a rookie). We also have Manon who id really like to see get minutes as a smaller defensive guard. I think our depth is very good at guard.
Because he’s a guard? He guards guards. Luka is a forward on defense and a PG on offense. They’re both guards. Thybulle will play with Luka while Austin sits, because he’s a guard. He’s always been a guard
We are starting 3 point guards, a shooting guard, and Wemby. Doesn’t mean Castle is a SF or Vassell is a PF.
One of those names you listed got sent down too
Does that in any way change my point?
they have to or else they’ll miss their chance to hate on another LeBron
Luka and Reaves start
Thybulle and Grimes are playing a lot of SF for you
Sexton hasn’t been consistently good at all?
Carr isn’t anything yet
Sexton hasn’t been consistently good? Do you mean right after he came back from injury or? News to me I guess.
Does it mean that they don’t need bronny? If so cut him, they did with Dalton and now he has a team and playing
Why would we do that?
Why are you keeping him?
Lakers have a lot of guard depth, not that they’re all good.
Luka, AR, Sexton, Grimes, Hardy. Theoretically thats enough minutes of guards for any team especially with Luka’s high usage rate.
Plus you have 2 way contract specialists like Manon (i think hes still there) who exist solely for defense.
I’m not stressed that a backup backup backup guard and an injured rookie guard can’t crack the rotation right now while everyone else is healthy
I agree with you that bronny wouldn’t have gotten the extent of opportunities he had if he were not LeBron James Jr, however, if you just took a minute to pull up the lakers roster, you would see that half that roster is guards and their two best players are guards lol.
Thybulle and Grimes are playing a lot of forward for them
Yeah, they’re rolling out guards at forward precisely because they’re deep at guard and have no wings
Hell be back with the main team on Friday. Everyone getting their laughs tho.
Back cheering I guess
What do you mean Lakers have pretty terrible guard depth? Do you even know what you are talking about?
Their guard position is the most crowded. Luka, AR, Sexton, Grimes, Hardy
He’s an end of bench guy who barely plays as it is, and is on a minimal contract. Not sure why people are still so sour about it.
He’s Lebrons son lol
you know why
Bronny is pretty solid in the g league means to me he’s a good basketball player. There’s just so many levels. Feels like if was healthier in college he could have had a more normal career trajectory. The narrative would be different too if he wasn’t drafted/ didn’t get an immediate guaranteed contract.
but I do wholeheartedly believe that if he wasn’t drafted to his fathers team, he wouldn’t have half the NBA minutes he currently has
This is an understatement, in no world would they draft him without his last name when he averaged 6ppg in college. Remove the last name and he would’ve been out of league already like the other 55th round picks
Nice revelation. What’s next crystal ball?
I think his comment was informative, no need to be a douche
No, not informative. How does Laker have terrible guard depth? Care to back it up?
You’re the only douche, weirdo. Those Internet points won’t get you laid
People would’ve played him because he’s LeBron’s son like a shit team or something to get people pay for tickets, but it would’ve been a 1 season experiment at best
Didn’t they just drop Knecht? I don’t know how they have bad guard depth lol..
Lakers are stacked at the guard, what’re you talking about? Lol
Actually Lakers is very deep in the Guard position atm (barring injuries)There are 96 guard minutes, Luka + AR take up roughly 70 minutes, which leave 26 minutes to be split between Grimes, Sexton, Carr, Hardy and Bronny.Sexton’s Career average minutes is 28 minutes. He alone could take up 20+ minutes.
Bronny must be the most criticized late second round pick in the league history
if he wasn’t drafted to his fathers team
He wouldn’t have been drafted at all.
Seeing your name means hell is real
Also LeBron wouldn’t have continued to play there with that crap ass roster….. Bronny is the only thing the Lakers had to hold him
lso LeBron wouldn’t have continued to play there with that crap ass roster
LeBron is one of the reasons the roster is so crap. If he had stayed, most everybody else on the team would be slotted more appropriately.
VJ is LeBrons real son.
he had a good career, like imagine saying you played in the nba as a normal person
He’s better off just saying his dad is LeBron.
I just want to know how he’d do in the scallenge
White mamba would put him in a body bag
It’s not that impressive when you were only drafted to make your dad happy. But I agree it is funny to see it play out lol
Yeah, it’s like being famous for being one of the girls in two girls one cup, what an odd brag
Dude would barely start on a good college team. Made some money that he and his family didnt need at all and took a spot from a better player. Nepo ball
Get ready to learn G league buddy
More like get ready to learn chinese. G Leaguers will relentlessly target him because of his name.
This is the last we’ve seen of him in the nba surely
The fact ya’ll think he will be in the g league the whole season is hilarious. It’s probably gonna be the same thing he did the last two years. Rotate between both.
He’s literally gonna be there for a day at a time throughout the season lmao
76ers will pick him up when he’s cut and he’ll win a championship with his dad
Sixers are hardcapped and couldn’t even sign him if Bron wanted them to
Just cut maxey .. easy as 1 2 3
don’t you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby!
Hate the lakers but they should be petty and just keep him in the g league
He’ll definitely be on the roster when the 76ers play the Lakers on Christmas. That’s money. Aside from that, they.might call him up here and there depending on how the season goes, but he’ll be cut at the end. His salary for next year is $2.5 million, which is not what anyone pays a guy who should, at best, be on a two-way.
It should be. Without his dad, he’s in a European league at best.
He’d be a third stringer in any Euroleague team. You’d have to move to very small first division teams or go down a division to find a team that would start him.
No Europe, he will go to China and make millions 💪
If he makes millions it would be just because of the marketing that being LeBron James’ son will bring, nothing else.
He should be a DII role player if we’re being fr
He’s scored double digits in an NBA game but sure
One game wow!
He’ll have a few minutes when he plays against his dad. But seriously, I’d just quit if I found myself out of the league while my father is the best role player in the league while playing at 60% or so.
Year 8, Lakers send Bronny to the G league!
But he’s averaging a triple 0.
Daddy Bron just left his kid in LA. It was all for clicks.
This is normal for reps.
Not in a player’s third season. It’s usually an indication they’re not good enough
Being good enough to be in the NBA is hardly normal tbf
So Bronny is above a normal person as a basketball player?
I think he would probably beat me but idk I’m kinda goated so I’d make it close
Ehhh his dad was sent to the G-League last year after missing the first few games with sciatica
High school. College, and now his third year in the league. He just never had, and never will be, an NBA player. The evidence is overwhelming. I feel kind of bad for him, but once his contract expires, he can go back to playing call of duty all day with his rich friends.
Feel bad for him? He lives in the dream man.
Not really.
He didn’t have to go this path, he’s already a millionaire. But he put the time and effort into becoming the best he can be.
To follow in his dad’s shadow, only to not even be close to any level. That’s pretty friggin tragic imo.
He could’ve been doing stupid youtube shit and still be a millionaire. But he went this route, went in everyones eye, dealt with all the naysayer only to prove them right.
who are you😂
I doubt that’s his perspective on it.
I guess if you have money there’s no reason to strive for anything in life then
Should be developing Carr by allowing him to play meaningful non-garbage time minutes instead of sending him to the G League.
I feel like he could be huge in China.
Bronny is headlining Coachella? He can’t keep getting away with this.
I’m not sure if people are aware, but they are starting off in Coachella Valley for the first time season. They could be using Bronny to juice sales.
the more logical play is they’d rather use the NBA roster spot on a more capable player of contributing
Yea they’ll get a lot of contribution out of spot 11
lmao got em
yeah sorry if you don’t exactly follow the NBA, but it’s not common to waste roster spots on guys that don’t bring something.
Any end of bench guy is one dude who is out a couple weeks from becoming a part-time rotational player for a bit. If you follow a team over a long season, you see these guys get a good bit of tick throughout a season.
No I watch a good bit. That why I know it’s pretty irrelevant who the 3rd stringer is because whether it’s bronny or insert 2k generated name here, they’re still not gonna be very good only get real minutes when shit hits the fan
it’s always about the money lil bro
BIG G-League BRONNY BUCKS for Coachella Valley. Those PALM SPRINGS crowds POURING in to witness #TheLegacy Bronny play live basketball. 4D Chess move not at all indicative of a bad player getting sent down.
They were planning on sending him there this whole time lol 😆
I really hope the Lakers invest in Cameron Carr because he has potential to be a great player
it only makes the news when it’s the lakers LeBron’s son
