As a Blazers fan this was a super fun game.
This incident with Advija was only a couple minutes after Brooks and Lillard went at it and it’s been a while since I’ve seen Lillard that pissed. Then next play Lillard drives on Brooks and scores the and 1.
The suns have zero answer for Deni. He can do whatever he wants against these dudes. Brooks isn’t strong enough and woman beater not good enough def. Double that w no rim protection and deni beasts them.
I loved watching him fucking body Brooks anytime Brooks tried to guard him. People hate on Deni because he’s from Israel but he’s one of the most impressive players in the NBA. 6’9 240, is VERY fast, and just plows through good defenders with his blend of size and speed. I think he’s going to keep getting better and better too

Blazers are better than last year. But no we’re going to end the year with 65+ wins which is the pace we are on.

Not really, teams need to make initial runs into the 2nd or later rounds initially before being contenders in general. Spurs sped run that last year, but Wemby is also a once in a lifetime freak of nature.
Dame has been there before, but most of the team has not, so they are not really contenders yet.

As a Blazers fan I’ve actually wanted him to be more confrontational and always found him too timid or deferential.
I’ve only recently seen him get more aggressive with it and I think it’s because of Dame’s influence which I love.
The most confrontational and heated Blazer is undoubtedly Cling Kong, he’s got a real temper to him and gets chippy as hell, dude plays like an old school enforcer, he’s picked up more than a handful of fouls getting extra physical after an opponent makes a dirty play on one of his teammates or the like.
