… I’m gonna need a list of the top 6 defensive players. Because it’ll be interesting to see which players you have listed below Luka defensively

I think dfg is the fakest stat ever but I’m gonna use this for my agenda

Dude is due an MVP award honestly.

Probably the rest from not playing overseas in the offseason

The part that gets me isn’t just the efficiency…it’s the efficiency on 1st percentile shot quality

Hes so tuff. Probably banging some LA baddies. Just lifting mad weights. Eating some fire ass ethnic food. Hes so tuff.

We not talking about just for a month

Hold on, don’t forget Trae Young 🔥🔥🔥

Hold your horses. There’s another Slav who’s got that title.

Shooting like Steph from the 3 and can pass like LeBron. This is fucked up. Lol

as of right now its better than steph volume wise

This would be the greatest individual season in nba history if he keeps it up

Tbf, 2016 Curry isn’t about how many he scored. It’s about how he was doing it. That dude was launching 3s from half court.

You’re comparing an 8 game stretch to an entire season with Curry in 2016.

In February of 2016 Curry averaged 36.⁷⁄₇.³⁄₅.6 on 54.⁹⁄₅₃.⁶⁄₈₇.5 Splits. He shot 71.6 TS% during this stretch which was 17.5 points above league average efficiency.

Luka is at +9 efficiency for perspective. Curry was also doing this while only playing 34.6 minutes per game.

What Curry was doing relative to his time was just insane outlier type of stuff.

Curry sat out many 4Qs

In terms of shock factor, if he keeps this up - definitely comparable to 2016 Curry

youre actually right lol. Seems more and more likely he took a leap and is just gna absolutely fry the shit out of everyone

Do people not remember the absolute tear he was on before he got injured??

Yeah if you include like the last 60 (last season and this season) he’s played it’s been consistent and trending upwards. He’s gotten better.

Without all the grifting

He averages 9.1 3s a game for his career so 13 is a bit more but that’ll cool off.

He’s playing at the highest level he’s ever played though damn, 39/8/8 AND shooting 90% on free throws?

This may be final form Luka lol

I mean we’ll see, I lowkey think Luka might be able to pull it off

Sure, but he still led the league in 3PT attempts and makes per game last year, so when it comes down it might be a 3 PPG difference on that end but everything else is sustainable, so if he avoids injury it’s very likely he can average 35+ a game on the season, the MVP stuff comes down to his health and the team record. The volume is sustainable it’s just a question of whether there’s an injury that will kill the momentum. He can keep up the 3PT attempts easily and shoot in the high-30s.

that’s a fair argument! I’m happy to see a legitimate take. You can only play who you play, and so far in the 26-27 NBA Seaaon, nobody is playing basketball at a higher level than Luka so far

Yes

As of now, it’s Luka’s to lose, but still far earlyIn the season

Wemby is not even close, Luka is carrying a team of ok role players. Wemby is crusing on a deep depth team and playing less minutes.

You’re right. 🐐

He don’t need 23 free throws to score more than 30 bro

Over 85?? No chance man. I watched like 90% of Luka’s games as a Mav. I’m confident in that bet xd.

I wish they did, it separated the KD’s from the real bucket at any cost superstars

Oh, really? Didn’t know.

Wemby is a god on defense, but still streaky on offense. One day he’s hitting numbers like today. The other he’s hitting 12 pts on bad efficiency

Like I wont blame him for it he is a young player, but I truly believe Doncic is Offense the way Wemby is to defense, and vice versa

We all know your talking abt vic, he had an insane game tonight, a ton of free throws but he’s 7’4 so reasonable. He’s just nowhere near the level offensively and is inconsistent game to game which is why he’s not getting the same hype
