Even when it got to four, it felt like the Sixers would just make the right plays to keep it from getting any closer. The LeBron effect, for sure!

Man we have Lebron James and Jaylen brown. I still can’t fucking believe it.

Having shooters off the bench feels so weird. It feels like just yesterday we were rooting for Sauce Castillo

They are still figuring out what works on offense. The defense is consistent and then they turn it up more in the fourth. They also spam Maxey Embiid pick and rolls in the fourth while not using it at all the first three quarters. This gives them a good shot most possessions in the fourth and doesn’t give their opponents time to adjust to it.

This and the Bulls game were probably the best they have played for the entire game on offense, but it still seems like a bunch of talented individuals that are individually great but haven’t figured out how to consistently make each other better yet.

There’s still some your turn my turn ball on offense but it works. Pretty wild they’re 8-1 and still figuring out the chemistry. Luckily the defense is already elite.

They clearly turn it on and off. Bona minutes also leak points and stifle the offense a lot

They’re still disorganized offensively but the defense has been amazing

They felt like they were playing street ball half the time tonight

It just feels like to me they still haven’t ironed out the sets

The effort is there on defense. The offense is still in a work in progress, lots of standing around. Been carried by good shot making, which is to be expected to some degree given the lineup

It looks like they’re still figuring things out on offense. They’re winning games still which is scary.

All but 1 of our wins have been in the clutch I think

When they move the ball effectively or run the pick and roll, they’re dangerous. When they settle for iso and / or jump shots without penetration or kick outs, they’re kinda mid.

That is exactly how it feels lol

Yeah we’ll have ugly stretches and then stretches where they look absolutely amazing.

Maxi VJ and Bron run the break, joel brown post up. Wade /Simons bench We can play any style any pace I love it. We are just figuring out what were best at. Somebody’s always cooking and the defense is legit but like today Vijay got mismatched on switches. They’re not used to Lebron’s passing. They definitely turn it on in the 4th and just try to get assists the other three quarters. nobody cares Who scores the most they literally take turns. You will see 5x double digits you’ll see A lot of triple double.

Sometimes but also feels like we have not really clicked yet

That’s exactly how it feels. They’ll be up 15 and I’m like great, finish them! And then they’ll turn the effort level down to like, Sunday pick up run.

They are still gelling and “figuring things out” offensively and they’re 8-1 with wins over 2x NYK, DET, CLE. Scary times ahead for the rest of the league.

It’s true but i weirdly feel like it works for them? Like the other guys just incubation style conserve energy while one of them cooks lol so then they have more in tank on defense and throughout the game

I bet he can’t believe this is his life

He already said that this is the season to finally have some fun. No more carrying, no more bad coaching, no more idiot mangement. He’s just there balling the way he’ve always dreamed of.

This was one of the secret reasons why I always thought the Sixers made sense for LeBron, especially once they got Jalen Brown. Even though there’s the idea or notion that he would want to still be a top-end guy, he’s 42 years old. If there are some nights where he just doesn’t have it, or his energy is somehow low, the team, in theory, has three other guys who can try to be a number one, and then a fourth young guy on the rise.

Outside of 3s, Embiid was pretty good offensively.

They are not going to get exposed. They have to keep Embiid healthy. They can win regular season games without him but they won’t win a championship without him.

It’s all about health man. If everyone’s healthy I don’t see how this team isn’t legit

I think even if yall get slightly exposed, yall will still be top 3. Team looks deadly

I think it’s just down to health and how tired they are. This isn’t an anti-Philly thing but I’ve never believed you can run an 8 man rotation over 82 games. To me that’s just sustainable, even with rest days

Of we can stay healthy we’ll just keep getting better.

We’ve had a very difficult schedule so far and we’re 8-1, so I’m feeling as confident as a Sixers fan can: not at all

How you gonna say the team’s ceiling is top 3 in the east lmaoo

I think no doubt top 3 in east with pistons (they try the hardest in regular season) and either Knicks/celts prob     I think main thing is trying to be top 3 with lebron and embiid still healthy for playoffs

Played 2 shit quarters, all the missed layups, and 7 Duncan Robinson threes but we still win. It’s crazy lol

When we get close to being up 20 Bona comes in the game to keep it close.

Bona is our Heavenly Restriction. (He was fine for most of the game tonight actually 😆)

LeBron being willing to take effectively a veteran minimum allowed the 76ers to do what the new CBA was originally intended to do: stop a team that already had Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown from adding a player of LeBron’s caliber.

Sure there might be game-to-game availability issues for LeBron and Embiid but it’s as close as we’ve gotten to “no chemistry needed, we just have more offensive talent than you” since the KD Warriors.

Embiids rubbing off on him.

means we get the 50% bron against the cavs

Jaylen Brown is probably lebron’s favorite player ever right now.

LBJ doesn’t care about Embiid resting. Edgecombs rookie mistakes don’t cost him games. And LBJ doesn’t have to activate LeTakeover when Maxey is having a bad game.

It’s seriously the best position he’s ever been in as a player

Funny enough it’s the same blueprint as to why the 2024 Celtics were an all time team

When you have 4-5 elite and versatile players that can get a bucket at any time you’re going to be great

Maybe Giannis will get bored of Miami by December and can also sign on the minimum

I mean the pistons only had duren for 1.5 games so far

We had Ausar and duren out when we beat Philly

Philly is still probably the best team in the east right now

Philon and the LAC pick.
