I hope big fella can get his threes back on track. I think it’s a mental thing because his midrange is still elite. Makes no sense. He’s missed like 15 in a row

Same here, they’ll start falling, at least at a decent enough clip. He’s getting a lot of open looks, which is good.

He mentioned in interviews recently that he’s still figuring out how to get his body to remember the things he used to do in this MVP year and that the staggered availability made him lose his muscle memory temporarily

The good thing is Embiid’s floor still gets him ²⁶⁄₁₅ on an off shooting night. When he gets his jumper back it’s gonna be scary.

15 rebounds after the last couple of years is insane to see. Let’s go big guy

Mukbeth

4 of those being offensive rebounds too

Never thought Embiid would play and move again like he was towards the end of last season. I was skeptical about the surgery and so happy to see him return like that. Now this season he’s even able to give a real effort to defense during the regular season. So happy for him

This dude has gone through so many injuries over the last 12 years and always came back better. Can’t even question his toughness.

If I recall that’s what Bill simmons said last season after 1 bad Embiid game in like the first game or two of the season lmao

GOAT_Redditor

Which is funny because even when he could barely walk after the Olympics scoring was the ONLY thing he could do

Ichigos_Intern

Bill Simmons before the regular season last year. It was real good when the Sixers beat the Celtics in 7.

Venomous_Raptor

After embiid scored 4 against the Celtics in the season opener last year. Bill Simmons said he would never score 20 again

LePhillyPhilly_23

7 | 9 hours ago

Bill needs to retire. He has the money. He’s a delusional Boston homer but somehow people listen to his takes as if he’s unbiased. He loves the attention.

As a sixers fan it’s great to see embiid with 15 rebounds in a game

HisExcellency20

20 | 9 hours ago

15 rebounds is absolutely insane for Joel. Great game for him despite once again missing every single three and also a few jumpers that he usually makes in his sleep.

The defense is all the best it’s been in years, he’s feeling damn good as a rebounder (obviously the Pistons were undersized tonight), and he didn’t miss a free throw. Good professional game.

Yes, take away the two points he scored there and the Sixers….still would have won.

BillPaxton4eva

You mean “kick them in the balls, Embiid”?

Joel Embiid is fueled by a feisty Pistons team and raucous Detroit crowd in the 76ers win tonight: 26 points (8-18 FG; 10-10 FT), 15 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal!
