Trying to watch all thirteen games is a physical assault on my body. Started strong with the early East coast games feeling fresh and exciting, but by the time the 8 PM slate hit, my eyes were glazing over. Now it is past midnight and I am delirious watching Heat vs Clippers. Why do we do this to ourselves? I am running on caffeine and spite at this point. The schedule makers clearly hate viewers who have jobs. I should have just picked one game and gone to bed like a normal person instead of this marathon suffering session.
My eyes are bigger than my stomach with this schedule. I want to catch the early Sixers game but then the Bucks-Celts overlap kills my evening plans. By the time the West Coast games start I’ll be dead on the couch. Might just watch the Lakers-Kings highlights tomorrow morning with coffee instead of ruining my sleep schedule again. Why do they pack the marquee matchups so close together? It’s cruel to working fans who actually have lives outside of basketball lol.

Why are we playing the same teams over and over again to start the season? We’ve had no games against Atlanta, Cleveland, Toronto, Orlando, Indiana, or literally any western conference team, but already two games against Charlotte and Philadelphia? I don’t understand the NBA scheduling philosophy

I was just complaining about this. The Jazz play all their games this season vs the Lakers and Spurs in the first 5 weeks of the season. We won’t get to see a Jazz game with Nurk & JJJ against those teams at all.
