So thankful for all the things that’s had to go wrong/right for this dude to fall into our laps

You know what? I’m a little excited too!

And the champ says whatever the fuck he wants to say.

Here he sounds like he is enjoying the coaching challenge of this year’s start, it’s getting his competitive juices flowing I figure knicks fans might not enjoy that as much as he does. But having recently won a championship, might not care as much as otherwise

We’re so blessed!!!

Crazy watching him with those Cavs and Lakers squads and then today.

He learned from mistakes and the people around him and truly evolved as a coach.

That’s my coach. Helped make the impossible happen.

Yeah, and it’s perhaps not a huge surprise that the Knicks have started slow. The emotional comedown from winning the championship to playing regular season basketball again is probably a trip.

This is a long season and people love to panic or gleefully predict disaster after just a handful of games.

It’s a long ass season. Where you need to learn things about the team and develop winning habits.

Brown’s already proven he can walk that path with this core. They’ve earned some respect

If SAC wasn’t an organization full of completely inept morons, he’d still be there. NYK got a gift.

Wish we still had Knicks Legend Mitchell Robinson. He’d be far more productive and useful with us

he said the quiet part out loud; elite coaches think long-term and use early season struggles as a teaching tool.

Lmao you think that will stop these internet trolls? They could not possibly care less about context or nuance

Imma just cut off that first part as a professional hater

I don’t feel like the thunder got it at all

the best team in the nba also doesn’t always win the finals

idk why this is such a crazy concept to people here

That’s why I’m not all that worried.

The players have been partying and getting their ass kissed to the nth degree all summer. Everyone is hung over.

And, FWIW, I don’t think we are going to repeat, anyway.

I don’t give a shit if we pick first in the draft. We won the chip. It’s very different than Sac just making the playoffs

The beam team was a first round exit not the reigning champs

it’s not like the kings did anything notable after he got fired from sac.

Totally reasonable to compare a championship winning team to the Sacramento Kings. Good job

It’s good that we suck actually.

Same thing Donovan Mitchell said early last season about a Cavs’ losing streak too, and it was not nearly so well received.

Not to mention we won the ring as a 4th seed? 3rd?

it is some joe mazulla shit lol

He deserved his cleveland firing

It really shouldn’t of you followed his career… He’s not without his own coaching limitations…

Four times actually

One time was Kobe being a crybaby and demanding he be fired after 5 games cause Brown actually wanted to experiment with rotations and ball distribution. Lakers went on to become the lolcow of the league that year and Kobe’s playoff career was ended.

Other time was Sacramento scapegoating him cause De’aaron Fox sucks ass and wanting to believe Brown was the problem for that team losing in the playoffs (after breaking a 20 year playoff drought). They went on to become the worst franchise in sports again right after he was fired.

The Cleveland one you could say was justified; but Brown took a genuinely horrible roster outside of LeBron to 60 win seasons and a finals appearance

As long as everyone falls in line it’s fine, but he’s been known to divide locker rooms and “coach through the media”. Lebron & Kobe weren’t down and he did Fox dirty.
