So all warriors fans

Idk why Podz is so hated by casual fans

He’s also a good contract for what he’s doing

Podz is genuinely good though, to say that he is not a proven rotation player is odd. He can shoot, drive, defend, draw fouls, rebound, and handle the ball. Not sure what aspect of his game people don’t like. Him and Yaxel have been a great duo that handles the non-Steph minutes really well.

Rather have ayo for the upside to his ceiling, but don’t lie and say their average games are not pretty similar

Our fanbase wanted Jaden traded away last year during his slow start. I tuned out that sub long ago

I totally believe that he would be big for their offense. And that doesn’t upset me because I think the number he got is completely fair and could even become a team bargain if he keeps gaining confidence as a scorer.

Have to remember he really only got his 3 point shot to this level last year and he didn’t even start taking 3s off the dribble until he got to the wolves. I think there’s a bunch of offensive gaps and lanes available to him that weren’t before and he’s slowly becoming more and more aggressive about how he attacks those. His combination of speed, shooting, and intelligence is very special.

Yeah it checks out, he was pretty well perfect. I think it went Ayo>Coby>Herro>Joe and unfortunately Joe was the only one super available. Well, fortunately for you, you’ve got a good player on your hands.

to answer your questions— he brings the ball up frequently but usually passes it to someone else to orchestrate (sometimes runs pick actions, but breaking down a defender is not his thing), braun is the fast break finisher so that’s what he’s doing on the break, and he is trusted near the end of the shot clock (been doing a middy pull up and it’s been landing, but obviously he’s not the primary low shotclock guy if joker and mal are out there). This season it does actually look like he’s doing more of everything you mentioned, but his primary role is the off ball stuff: transition, cutting, shooting, screening, defending, hustle.

hes averaging 15 on 53/41/80 and is easily the 3rd best nugget and best defender rn, he’s not the issue for us, that narrative propagated from last season when he was injured and he has looked fine this season.

I think it’s just a hip contusion: he fell on it in the Clippers game and was in a lot of pain, then fell on it again the next night and was, again, in a lot of pain.

Probably just need to rest it a few days and he’ll be fine.

He’s probably attainable. I know he was good last year, but it seems like he’s struggling right now, shooting 19% from three and his minutes are dropping down to 11 versus Boston and 9 versus Philly. If he keeps struggling, he might be completely out of the rotation.

Yeah, I can see it.

I was at a game and kept getting them confused if I couldn’t see their jersey numbers. They’re twins

Hey now, last night was very impressive. Few players can post a -15 in only 7 minutes.

Plus Ayo*

as someone who played a TJ McConnell role in high school for a team that never won, meaning I’m somewhat of an expert to speak on basketball related topics universally, I’d say he’d average 22ppg, 0rb, 6ast, on ¹⁰⁄₄₃ shooting, ²⁄₁₃ from 3pt. maybe 5-6 TO, but i never turned the ball over so i wouldn’t know much about that.

NAW has been a scoring machine in Atlanta in a way that he was not for you guys though, he’s been insanely good.
