The Wolves are shooting a blistering 64.7% from the free throw line, the worst mark in the play by play era (since 1996)
Only 3 teams in the last decade have shot sub 70% from the line, the 19⁄20 Knicks, 18⁄19 Heat and the 18⁄19 Lakers. No teams since 1996 has shot below 66% from the line.
Obviously it has only been 8 games but this is an interesting pattern that has developed, the Wolves were 2nd to last in the NBA in FT% last season but at almost 75%, a whole 10 points higher.
Rudy is shooting 44% from the line, Kuminga 55%, Edwards 75%, McDaniels 67%, LaMelo 75% and Shannon 72%.
How long do you think this trend will last and will the team get their shit together from the line or are they going to be the worst FT shooting team in the last 30 years?
