Eventually he did talk about it but I don’t think the question was ever intended to be critical, and KD’s eventual answer made perfect sense so he didn’t need to get defensive. Nbd tho. Go Rockets!

That’s a crazy misquote/misinterpretation of what KD said. He’s instead saying there’s no need to ask about number of shots and instead to watch how the Celtics were guarding tonight. KD was perfectly content with taking what the defense gave him and going 5⁄6 from the field and Jabari was also fine only taking 10 shots tonight. Getting the best possible shot every time down the court is way more important than counting shots, which is basically what KD is saying at the end of this video.
