I went to AEW All Out last year and paid \(700 CDN for the VIP experience that, in addition to the ticket to the show itself, included some cool stuff including meeting Hangman. But part of the package was a \)20 food voucher that’s given on a plastic gift card. And it’s basically the same kind of feeling as the “free” drinks for a courtside ticket. It was like “yeah, cool, thanks I guess, but I very much paid for this.”
And then I discovered that basically every concession area on the lower level of Scotiabank Arena was “upgraded” and couldn’t read the voucher card, so I had to go to the upper level just to use it on some overpriced chicken tenders.
Now imagine the guy who is buying a $7200 ticket with the plan to get his moneys worth in complementary beer like a fat guy at an AYCE buffet lol. Racing to get 300+ beers before the end of the game
