Putting up prime Make-A-Wish plays.

3rd string came in with their bike helmets still on

Clip?

when you in the bounds the ball out of the bounds 😔

TIL Bronny himself played 1 v 5 against the Raptors!

Don’t wait til the end of the game to throw someone in to play key role in a high leverage moment.

Yeah and he was -11 💀

Sadly, this post was one of the legitimate, necessary ones. He was awful and had JJ not yanked him and the rest of that unit to put the starters back in, they would have fully sold a 15 point lead in about 150 seconds.

you defend him because he has people rightfully criticizing him?

not because he plays good? which he doesn’t

Bronny will shoot ¹⁄₇ but the one make will be a top post with people glazing. This is fair criticism compared to that.

+/- is a team stat, its so stupid when yall use it to judge a player with zero context.

He’s 1 of 5 players on the floor. Are you saying he was solely responsible for an 11-point swing? This is such a weird post.

Yea he wasn’t the catalyst he didn’t even have the ball. wtf is wrong with yall? Why make up stuff about a second round pick? Is is Lebron hate? What did Bronny do to make you grown men so mad at him, that you want to get on the internet and make up stories about him?

It wasnt him it was Grimes lmao what were you watching.

Both you and Elon believe that Grimes doesn’t exist anymore

Now do the other 4 players with him on the floor. Let’s use our brain when we post. I don’t believe people can be this stupid.

Youre in full hate mode. Its weird and obsessive.

These darn Reddit low lives says the top commenter flair lmao 🫪

Matisse thybulle is everything vando was supposed to be and more

Compared to Looney, he IS the messiah. And Mamu at the 5 without Vando lineups have also struggled. This is obviously not a long term solution, we need a backup 5.

He had amazing marketing at the wolves

Pretty likable and hes a had a few defensive performances to build a name off of

Literally no one thinks that

The only thing that matters is that he’s better than Looney who, by some metrics, is literally the worst player in the nba.

He also went to USC which isn’t some charity case athletic program. Tbh if he is serious about basketball he should play in the EL CBA, or NBL. that’s his best bet to become the player he needs to be in the NBA. No snark or sarcasm here he could be a very effective TJ McConnell or Jose Alvarado spark plug but with where he’s at now it’s arguably not worth the time or resources for an NBA team to get him there.

When your ceiling as an NBA player is Josh Okogie, like what is the point of keeping them there and hoping that ceiling is reached. You either get a higher floor player that can contribute today or get a guy with a higher ceiling

there aren’t many bronny defenders on the lakers sub at all, most soured on him during his horrible pre-season where he showed zero improvement of any kind

Yeap. He is exactly average 55th pick. Most players picked 50+ are tried out, shipped to the G-League and then rotated out in the first 2-3 years of their career. Sometimes, not often, 1 or 2 from the whole draft will become serviceable bench players. Once in a blue moon one will become a starter. That’s it.

Somehow Bronny is not different but people want to pretend he is.

Many still are

I legitimately thought he would have at least been better. He showed flashes last year of being decent and he wasn’t the worst player on the roster before the season started, or even last year.

Never ever was. This bullshit experiment in nepotism needs to end.

I can’t wait for some NFL fanbase to go through this with Arch Manning in the next few years

Bron killed his development by making him play like bron growing up lol

The issue is that he wasn’t playing 25-30 minutes. He wasn’t even starter on his team.

NBA has way better player development than college IMO

I mean Bronny has outright said his other dad is Steph 😆

Naw we good

Playoffs? You tripping haha

Yeah, good chance this guy had professional coaching for most of his life, better coaching than 99% of the rest of his peers. He’s just not a good basketball player and unfortunately for him, didn’t seem to get his dad’s athletic genes and not the desire to be great. I have a feeling the moment he’s out of the NBA we’re going to find out he was really passionate about something else entirely.

He trained with Michael Jordan??

if only the most advantaged person had more advantages

Dude hes just not good enough maybe? Its not that complicated

His dad actually kinda screwed him over long term if you think about it. Lakers don’t know how to draft or develop their players.

sports is the wrong place to be anti-nepotism

Curry, klay, Brunson, horford, sabonis, JJJ, Jabari smith jr, I can go on and on but I hope you get the point that the nepo babies themselves aren’t the problem, a lot of the time they become even better than their parents BECAUSE of their wealth and connections. Also, not to seem like I’m bending over for millionaires, but isn’t the whole point of having a kid to give them what you didn’t have so they can hope to be better than you? If I’m rich and connected I’m sure as hell going to “nepo” my kids into opportunities that will set them up for success if they work hard

how do you know? do u know how much a jsmes name will generate for a CBA team?

I’d rather have a 20whatever bronny on my CBA team than a 30whatever ty lawson. And then I think about if from an on the court perspective and I like the idea even more.

I was more shocked he even continued to play after that heart issue. You would assume most people would call it a day, especially going through cardiac arrest at such a young age.

The fact that there are downvotes for this is sad af. Get fucking real.

He’s gonna be outta the league soon and pick up golf full time. Bronny actually got a good swing for how new he is to the game

This is the thing these defenders don’t seem to get and I don’t understand it. I get that he’s an end of the bench player in his current role, I believe that he is not good enough to fill that role, and nights like tonight are just more evidence of that. I get that he is a second round pick, I have seen several second round picks perform at a much higher level with much smaller opportunities and still get bounced out of the league. I get that there were other players on the floor, I have eyes and use them to watch the basketball games too, he looked like he could not keep up pace with the end of the bench players on the court. He is not a role player, I am not being too harsh, this guy is not better than G-League players. I’ll even go so far as to say there are a handful of players in China that are more deserving of that contract.

If he’s really LeBron’s son he would have put up 5/5/5 in 5 minutes

Awwww did we bully the billionaire’s nepo baby awww wah wah

NBA Twitter is much better than here lol

It always has been, people complain about the hot takes and Stephan A Smith debates but this post proves people love that shit. He played 2 mins in a game where the whole bench blew a lead and needed to be pulled.

I’m really mad they didn’t shamelessly go for some globe trotter shit at any point. The best we got was a Bron oop to Bronny for a lay in.

If Bam can chuck while his 4 teammates all spam him the ball for an entire 4th quarter in a blowout win against the worst D in the league, then we could’ve gotten a sick father-son alley up DUNK at least. JJ really couldn’t just draw one up and run it a few times until it worked?

No please I insist, you’re due a chip at this point and having 2 Lebron James will certainly help

If you feel bad about it we can also trade with Maxey but 2 FRP is fine too

I’ve only been watching it more recently, but it seems he’s been performing on par with his draft position and pay, hasn’t he?

He would still have career minutes if he wasn’t the son of one of the greatest players in nba history.

Most people are ignorant of what happens at the end of the draft picks. Sometimes teams draft on potential, especially if a prospect had a great combine showing.
