Gonna be like 6 dudes deserving first team all rookie.

Yaxel winning Rookie of the year as a senior citizen is a beautiful thing to see /s

But seriously this fool is balling the fuck out I seriously hope this does something against the stigma you have to be 18 to get drafted high.

Dude these last 2 years of rooks have been insanity

Max bet on Boozer since he doesn’t any real superstar with him (Ty Jerome 👀)

He reminds me of Detroit Blake Griffin.

Yeah sometimes, its really just as much of a gamble tho. Sometime you get a brogdan and other times you get a knecht. Which btw knecht also looked like a steal early on

Kerr benched him for it too, good learning for him

It’s still an efficient 37 despite the shots at the end.

Yeah this stat line was even crazier before the chucking started. Great game for the rook!

They were mostly open shots. Didn’t force anything, just missed.

Lol this reminds me of that metric that found that Curry’s 3p% would be way better, but because that mf be trying to shoot at the end of the quarter no matter the distance, it tanks it a bit. I’m all here for it of course, but it is wild that despite the “chucking” he still maintains such a high percentage.

I feel like he only took one heat check type shot And it was more of a end of shot clock grenade

As a warrior fan I just have to say…………………

…………..Ok fine

Yaxel and Boozer been the best and it’s not close imo. As talented as Acuff is the Kings are still so bad. It’s something to be said for Yaxel and Boozer to come in and immediately make their teams better off rip.

Hopefully he ends up being really good and not just a hot streak early on like Chris Duarte had his rookie season.

People who track “prospects” and rookies are weird. They honestly do not give a shit about basketball and only care about how many stars a recruit had coming into college.

A draft is good or bad based on how many 5-star college players went high in the draft and how well they did afterward. That’s it. Players like Jokic or Giannis who came in from outside the system and developed into all time players might as well be dog shit for all they care. Yaxel is the same. He doesn’t fit their template so they will make fun of him and be low-key pissed if he succeeds.

He is an older rookie. He’s 4-5 years older than most rookies, not saying that as a diss because he is good now and glad that he is holding down the fort for Steph and Jimmy but by the time these young rookies hit 24, they’re basically done with their rookie contracts.

with ball iq

• better efficiency

One of the better comps, but with really great vision and likes to share the ball.

Haven’t seen his D but I’ll take your word for it.

LOOK AT ME

I AM THE HEAD CHEF NOW

he may literally be lol.

/s

I honestly think teams should draft older more well rounded players more often.

Toumani Camara came into the league at 23, and he’s fucking awesome too.

I mean y’all act like he’s so special but forget he’s older than Jayson Tatum who’s already got a ring

a very good number 2, yes age is a factor but I am rooting for him dwag, easily top 20 player soon, a perennial all star and all nba type player!

he’s so good. he doesn’t even have to go out of his way to score. he scored 37 just playing in the flow of the offense.

All NBA

Yes but a ¹⁸⁄₁₉ year old could be anything, even Yaxel Lendeborg.

Lmfao! That’s amazing

kerr has been doing a great job empowering him to be a big part of the offense and living with his mistakes. he could be a huge part of their team this year.

I mean if you’re counting Moody sitting, then Butler too!

don’t forget jimmy!

“these stats would be impressive if he was 19-20, or had several years in the league already, but since he’s a 24 year old rookie i can’t respect it and unfortunately he’s a bust. sorry i don’t make the rules.”

as a warriors fan who doesn’t follow college ball at all, i’m beyond elated we got this dude. i don’t know  much about him in college but he has been a fantastic addition to our team. i’m so excited.

Delusional fans thinking a 6’9” 240 athlete with a 7’4” wingspan is gonna get bullied in the NBA LOL

“He’s just picking on highschoolers”

Bro. He’s manhanding full grown adults now

Warriors had to make the end spicy

Dalton Kennect would never.

Old enough to be in HOF already
