Literally has nothing to do with it. It’s simply not sustainable for him to take this many shots for the rest of the game. It’s not his gas tank. It’s that there are other people on the team. He’s not going to take 40 shots.
Them playing the whole first quarter is a bad strategy. I guess he just loves it and he dominates so much that coaches put up with it. I will say from the eye test it doesnt really feel like I see him slow down its just that he starts missing and getting doubled.
Teams also start sending doubles way more often and force anyone but him to score

Question about calling glass/bank. Do players actually do it before they shoot? Ive always heard of it but never seen an example of it being said aloud before a shot in game.
It’s usually more like, you go up for a regular shot/shooting move, adjust your shot quickly because the defense was more ready than you thought and would probably block/force a miss, call bank right after releasing the jumpshot
