Tatums on ball defense is very good but honestly his off ball defense is equally as impressive. He broke Dallas lob or corner 3 scheme during the finals lol
He also guards 1-5 as both the primary and help defender
Complete player
I still like calling him big deuce
This is why I kept getting confused when brown proclaimed himself the best 2 way player in the league when we literally had a better 2 way player in Tatum . Better on offense . Just as impactful on defense
Probably better, honestly
I’d say his off-ball defense is better by far. He’s almost never in the wrong place and if he is, he notices before the offense does
a big part of that finals win was legit tatum playing the five and taking away the lobs
He’s a complete player on the defensive end
He’s one of the best in the league offball
2 way
2 way Jay is top 5
MVP!
CLAMPS
That’s my two-way franchise player
Crazy you can play unreal defense like this and still the guy still almost hits the shot.
The level of skill has exploded exponentially over time. Today’s players till like 7⁄8 on the bench still have so much skill that it’s not just defense only from them. I love the current NBA tbh without all the dynasties, and a big element of that is the development of role and bench players
2 way super duper star
Sooooooo. You want to play in the NBA
Now do luka
Who
Jayson Tatum I think he plays for Boston
i’m seeing this same statement in a lot of places, but do you have anything to back up this claim? can’t believe everything on the internet.
Probably won’t even give us his birth records
