The Kings obviously have a shitload of work to do to surround him with the right players, but having what at first glance may be a legit offensive engine is at least a positive step.

In my case I don’t really care if Luka never wins anything with us, it’s just fun watching him hoop. Stars make basketball fun, winning is a bonus but only 1 team out of 30 can win each year and winning now more than ever requires a very good front office

I said this since day one with box score watchers, which okay, I know nobody besides Kings fans are watching Kings games but like… he ain’t chucking. He’s taking great shots 90% of the time that are in the flow of the game and he ain’t a ball hog, the dude makes TONS of great passes that his trash supporting crew can’t convert for him. Last game he had 14 assists and like 20+ potential ones, dude would be averaging a double double higher than Trae’s seasons if dudes around him could hit a bunny.
Percentage is going up and up and up with each game and more comfort.
He’s 19 but is so high IQ, so emotionally mature and such a hard worker. The dude is the apex for everything you want and don’t need to worry about “developing bad habits” or “putting himself above winning/the team” like there ain’t shit in that from his games so far or his words.
Also he’s not “the worst defender” in the league, lots of the time he’s neutral to just bad, something that can be improved but also that’s what we need to get out of the other 4 to go around him, don’t need my PG to be some big stopper. We should be starting Sharp next to him, not Lavine, exactly for that. Let Lavine be the firecracker off the bench to put up worthless scoring.

Dame was not an efficient scorer shooting wise he played on Teams that never had consistent 3rd options .. you’re talking about a ROOKIE whose gonna improve and without one outlier game is shooting better than Dame did his rookie year outside of threes
Dame was actually a very efficient scorer his whole career (hell in 2023 he was 32 ppg on 65% TS%, which is absurd for a guard)

Fox didn’t break the playoff drought, he had many years before that, more credit goes to Sabonis and other new additions that all came together at the same time.
I ain’t a Fox hater, but there’s some OG “Greatest Show on Court” Kings and other names that deserve that well before Fox. Also think recent history for some orgs has really lowered the bar for that claim.
