I hope r/nba doesn’t sit and act shocked when the Rockets are 40-10 by February.

People wanted this team to blow it up because half their squad was injured during a playoff run.

Then, they did nothing other than add Marcus Smart and wait for FVV’s return, and they’re the team we knew they could’ve been with KD.

Im waiting for healthy Adams to be a demon on the offensive glass.

Rockets are currently 1st in the league in eFG%. Imagine when Steveo is helping them clean up 30-40% of those misses.

People just wanted the Rockets to be bad because they don’t like KD and want to laugh at him losing

I would be equally as surprised to see rockets at 40-10 or 25-25 in February.

In one of the games, our whole bench got outscored by Bronny who scored 3 points… Amen was playing 45 minutes a game because we had no other person that could run point and any time he sat, we gave up like 10 points in 30 seconds

Udoka prolly made em all fight each other in camp, that’s why everybody’s so cool

lowkey he’s become a better player than the 2 guys taken ahead of him in his draft, but maybe i’m biased

Not lowkey, he for sure is. I would rather have Jabari than Paolo or Chet.

Even if Jabari was a max player as well? That would be the fair comparison.

You’re just lucky he only broke out after he already signed a cheap (in hindsight) extension.

Even before this season, Jabari had the best value contact

He’s so in rhythm right now.

Coaching too. Udoka seems like one of those guys who can put a lot of these players in their place and drop their egos

Good for them. Many adults don’t behave like adults.

They got healthier , one year of understanding how KD wants to play and his tendancies

This is the real first yr for Houston

I promise you it was genuinely not a big deal in that locker room. Jabari probably found it funny ngl. I used to play competitive/semipro games and one of the guys, who is still one of my best friends to this day, was extremely talented but made absolutely boneheaded decisions sometimes and we’d clown him for it all the time. It was just funny, not a big deal at all
