Wanna know who else was wierd? The zebras

Y’all got a bad whistle this game but Lamelo specifically was just fouling that much (and dodged the foul for spitting)

Come on now, nearly all his fouls have just been stupid fouls. The first one he picked up tonight grabbing and humping Wemby in the backcourt? This shit is on LaMelo.

Brother he should’ve had a tech for spitting, tell Lamelo to stop playing like a moron

Against wemby no less. Even though wemby have 40+ still very good for him

Crazy part is we’ve lost like 2 of them

I checked, our next game is one too. This is blatent fixing by the league.

When its teams that are coerced to be toward the top, rest advantages could have actual implications in final seeding because one of the tiebreaker rules is head to head record. These do matter.

You should be, we were playing y’all and the refs

Fair, but give it 20 more games we’ll see if it’s lack of adjustment time or an inherent limitation. Because to me Ball lacks discipline and concentration, which would always lead to unnecessary fouls

he needs to move his feet instead of playing with his hands thats just what it is. hes never really be asked to play defense at any point in his basketball journey. it’ll take time. its different than julius. with julius he had the size and the sample size. he just lacked the mindset. i think melo has the mindset and size. but lacks the actual skill bit

Right? Do we wanna see him actually try and to his credit make hustle plays? Or do we wanna see him get floored like Luka did Vs Curry. I take this version of Lamelo fouls and all 100% of the time.

I’m unconcerned

Some of them were marginal, some of them just bad habits after he got beat, and one of them was just plain bizarre when he didnt see the 7’5 alien and tried to run through him.

He lacked concentration on both sides of the floor tonight and the Wolves will need him to be a more steady presence with Edwards out.

*on one side.

While Wemby gets to run like a drunk gazelle, Harper trips on his own feet, Kornet gets to double hand illegal screen, and Fox gets to hack and whack all night.

It was a lot less of an issue when Ant was playing tbf.

A lot of time between now and then to get a little more disciplined. If it’s still happening when Ant’s back I’ll start to get concerned

I hope we get to play you guys with Donte, Ant, and Gobert this year so we can have a less silly game

he doesn’t need to. he could develop a floater/hook instead of these iso or spot-up 18 footers

The fact that the fans and Wemby himself continue expect him to find a midrange game one of these years is why he still hasn’t taken over NBA yet.

Would make the Spurs worse though. Wemby can hit 3s, and that’s a huge problem for defenses trying to defend this team.

melo really needs to work on his foul troubles. you can see him visibly frustrated (spitting on floor lol) and these fouls are affecting his game. If he solves that, then timberwolves will be fine

Scott would have gotten 3 on Slim.

I don’t think you guys know how rotations work. There are 96 minutes available in an NBA game for the 2 guard positions, point guard and shooting guard have 48 minutes each.

If all 3 of the guards play 32 minutes each, that’s 96 minutes. That means there is a starting guard on the court for every second of the game, including with the bench unit. There’s never a time where the bench unit is out there without a starting guard.

How is it “obvious as fuck” when you can’t even do basic math 😭

spot on our bench is much better when harpers is the sixth man

Not just that, we played alot of this game with no center out there to guard Wemby.

Wemby owns Rudy lol I do wish Ant was playing though

When has he shown any ability to “slow down” Wemby?

i think gobert will not be a problem. Wolves played better against spurs when rudy is not playing agaisnt wemby.
