Joel is a lot of guys GOAT here but Maxey and VJ are still so nice next to him and fit so well. VJ is a big hustle guy and clutch guy, doing a lot of the dirty work on defense and skying for big boards when that’s a weakness on the team. And the Maxey/Embiid pnr is probably one of the most efficient plays in the league since they started playing together.
They’re kind of a breath of fresh air too because embiid is hated to an obsessive level online. He plays up the villain role but people are weird as hell whenever he does anything while Maxey and VJ are liked pretty much league wide… For now lol. I’m sure that’ll change, it usually does. Embiid used to be a darling too until he was in mvp races every year

It’s the main reason I was sad to see Philly trade for JB. VJ is incredible and deserves to be the guy, or at least 2nd option on a team. I full agree. The best thing for his development is being on a championship-caliber team where he doesn’t HAVE to be the guy. He’s going to be so good and JB will be gone by the time he hits his prime

Maybe not offensively but our defense has been amazing and we don’t turn the ball over. So doing that with some great clutch execution def adds to the win column. Our rebounding, as per usual, fucking blows though.
