They’re also missing 2 of their key starters, who are also 2 of their best offensive players

Its not really missing lamelo and miles. Its missing kon and coby. Until those two play cant really say how the no melo and miles plays out.

But yea they’re bad right now but its because sion and schroder are non shooters being left open on permieter

We’re 3-2 with two starters missing, I think we’re doing pretty good

Edit: 3-3

LaMelo is inefficient and takes bad shots but he really is incredible at boosting a teams offense. All his advanced stats and lineup data last year was crazy on the impact he had for the Hornets offense

Fym “team is having a hard time adjusting without Bridges” as if the offense would have been any better with Bridges. The team is struggling without Coby and Kon, Brandon is getting double teamed and the only two other players that can shoot are Naz and Grayson. It’s expected, we’re weathering the storm until Coby and Kon return.

My dude we’re missing 2 starters and a rotational player in Williams.

Despite that we’re 3-3. I’ll take the wins over the offensive rating.

It’s been like five games dog

They’re 3-3 while dealing with injuries, so I don’t think they’re having a terrible time all things considered. With this sample size, that game against the Hawks alone is going to tank them.

Shit like this is why I hate advanced statistics in sports because y’all spend more time looking at a fucking website then you do the actual games

The team is shooting 30.7% on wide open threes and 24.5% on open threes. Brandon Miller is shooting 33.3% on wide open threes and 17.9% on open threes. Almost the entire team is cold from deep and two of our best players (and shooters) have yet to suit up. I think we’ll be fine. These shots will start going in eventually. We’re .500.

I’m more fascinated by the fact that our defense has been as good as it is.

I’m impressed they even have 3 wins. They’re doing pretty well imo

Hornets are alright

Well they get 30 minutes of Adem Bona tonight to see if they can right the ship

Yeah kind of sucks missing your starting PG plus the guy who hit the most threes in the nba and also set the rookie 3 point record. Sort of a bummer.

I mean that tracks? Missing their 3 best offensive players from last year (Lamelo, Kon, Coby)

Now the Sixers being 27th on offense and 3rd on defense is a lot funnier lol https://cleaningtheglass.com/stats/league/summary

It’s hard to say how good this team is. They’re a mediocre team and two of their starters haven’t played a single minute this season. Kon being on the court would by default help the offense immensely.

I was wondering last season if Brandon Miller and Dylan Harper were on same level, now people think Miller is just a chucker?

Wow this is probably the worst drop off I’ve seen. Hopefully it doesn’t stay like this for the rest of the season. Going from the #1 offense last year with everyone healthy + Lamelo, to being last in the nba is gonna feed generational slander to the hornets “Winning culture” franchise.

We think it’s actually the Nets

Thank god they have the Hurricanes

Still beat my dog shit Brooklyn nets

Maybe the suns

It’ll probably be better after playing the Sixers without Embiid, LeBron, and JB tonight

Thank you for the awareness

It’s wild how much the Hornets’ offense changes without LaMelo running the point; their motion just looks so much more stagnant right now.
