None of the other major sports have stars that go toe to toe like this… Football is way more of a team sport and QBs don’t really go against each other… Baseball you can have some pitcher/hitter duels but pitcher is still expected to win 70% of the time and the way innings are set up just slows down a team “coming right back”… Hockey and soccer are way less scoring so superstars aren’t expected to come right back.
Basketball you can have a true match up where it’s like heavyweights just trading haymakers. One person can dominate like in no other team sport. Just so much fun watching these duels.
