i cannot explain my disdain that scottie’s career game got ruined by the “orlando magic” shooting 1000% from 3

Dude scored 40 and 0 in the same week, wild.

Scottie is an incredible player who I think can continue to hit this ceiling. I think this is who he can become consistently. Maybe I’m naive but I really do think Kawhi being there is what’s going to allow him to bring this out.

If you watched him last season he has just continued climbing. I’ve been saying for a while that I think this season is when we are going to really see it

He can do it on both ends of the floor but I just think having a guy like Kawhi to pick up the slack (when he’s healthy) will allow for Barnes to turn on another gear offensively. I’m super high on Scottie I think he has one of the biggest ceilings of any player in the league to be honest with you. He can also carry this team and with a little more help would have got it done tonight

Edit: also I personally think he has an absolutely horrible whistle. Almost reminds me of Steph Curry to be honest with you lol. I know he’s a different kind of player but same kind of idea with the whistle. I’ve been saying for a while that I think he and Giannis are VERY similar just Scottie doesn’t get the whistle.

32fgs that weren’t 3s and this man couldn’t get any foul calls it was a hard watch

Dude was getting hacked too.

One of the worst whistles in the league

Scottie needs to equip the foul baiting badge to get calls

34 shots. 3 freethrows. Garbage referees

Classic sct brn. Insane performance, JT on our broadcast mentioned that he was the entire halfcourt offense and I think that sums it up

Shame that we lost but holy shit Scottie 40 bombs are on the table, without free throws because no fucking shit lmao, Scottie has a Curry whistle

Raptors just wasted a 41 pt game sigh

But Scottie was fantastic

Could’ve easily had more if refs had eyesight but wcyd. I really hope he doesn’t get run into the ground this season, Poeltl being a complete shell of himself and Kawhi missing time leaves so much on his plate, at least last year he had a lot of guys around him most of the time to help share the load

Refs must have bet the under on Scottie points tonight because how can you have 34 FGA and only 2 trips to the line…

Only 2 3PA also. Insane.

Refs on an absolute heater tonight across the league I see… maybe getting in bed with every sleazy sports book and “prediction market” that had money to throw around was… a bad thing?

He looked like vintage Kawhi out there… Orlando didn’t have an answer for him

Damn near every shot in the paint and got 3 free throws… many questionable no calls. Would have been 60 but Scottie has zero whistle.

refs are fucking on one

We couldn’t move him. No one could physically stop him from getting to his spots. He missed a lot that should’ve been makes, too

It’s been almost 3 years since that darko rant and he’s only turned out to be spot on about Scottie and his lack of a whistle

He deserved that win man..

Gg magic bros

3 freethrowa what a fucking joke man

Two problems: orlando couldn’t miss from 3, and the rest of the raptors couldn’t shoot.

Infuriating watch because of the refs but let’s put that aside.

Raptors going to be fucking terrifying even if we get Kawhi at 60%

This 41 isn’t really 41, I’ll explain later. Not gonna bitch about reffing too much but yeah it felt like Orlando made about 200 3’s tonight.

The refs fucking ruined the game from Q1. What the fuckkk was that!!

luka deadass could never

World was against my guy tonight

He was well on his way to 50 but Darko sat him too long and then he got hurt and fouled out, everything went wrong for him late unfortunately

scottie hard carried on BOTH ends of the floor and his team completely let him down

also refs were abysmal in the first half

also fuck desmond bane
