even Lebron is a billionaire and still flew himself out to Saudi Arabia to get on his knees for oil princes

it’s a big club and we ain’t in it

Kushner just bought Electronic Arts with the help of the Saudis, for a lot more than $12.5B

Saudis’ are earmarking their money for weapons and defense. The UAE will step up in their stead.

They already found it in crypto yesterday…

You know I can’t buy a big Mac if I don’t have the money for it but apparently you can just spend $12 billion that you don’t have for a premier NBA team

Money is always available from american tax dollars

First, the NBA names Kalshi and Polymarket as official sponsors, and, now, the Rump family finalizes owning one of the teams. Good week for the NBA 👍

why? they will just make SEC go away and pay less lol

If saudis didn’t have oil, what would their country look like?

IDK if you’ve heard, but they’re going through some issues right now w/ the Houthis. I still think Turki and crew will be interested, but they’ve been reevaluating a lot of their investments as a country lately

so saudi arabia will own the lakers? that’s who funds kushner

And it’s infesting all aspects of life it’s really sad. Greed greed greed these people never have enough money.

It tastes even more gross

Grape jelly and mustard with a dash of pepper

That’s the United States for you. Most corrupt country.

Do the right thing next week

What about this is corrupt?

First, the NBA names Kalshi and Polymarket as official sponsors, and, now, the Rump family finalizes owning one of the teams. Good week for the NBA 👍

He’s been wrong on so many “rich guy circle” things that at this point his reporting can’t be trusted. At a minimum he’s clearly not triangulating sources.

The “billionaire mouth piece” piece

Social club? He’s gotta sell!

Waltuh… put your dick away Waltuh

He’s gay, Mark Walter?

Catchin or pitchin?

Lakers getting moved to Delaware for tax purposes

no one’s even speaking on it.

The news media has been effectively captured for years now.

I think we all feel pretty powerless at this point unfortunately. Tired. Worried

What do you mean by consolidation of equity

It’s called sports washing. Basically Oil princes and royalty are buying sports teams to make their image look better. Unfortunately it’s blown up in their faces, look at Liv golf and Manchester City fiasco

So should their father, who was in prison until Trump pardoned him. Kushners dad then became ambassador to France, appointed by Trump. LOL

I am hoping one day in the future certain last names will be met with disgust and disdain and anyone with it will want to distance themselves as much as possible.

It’d be really great if all oil and gas traded in yuan and then all the gulf states invested their money in china and bought J-20s, their investments in basketball teams and video games poses too great of a risk to America’s national security in the Middle East.

The Arabs have taken billions of dollars out of this country, and now they must put it back! It is ebb and flow, tidal gravity! It is ecological balance!

Yeah why should we believe her anymore?

Yeah, they can’t tell her about all the recent crypto “earnings” funding this purchase.

thats thinking like a poor

Pretty standard to raise money for an acquisition. Source: ex-investment banker.

Rich people play by dif rules (none)

Think of it more like buying a car on the level of billions. You know you can get the funding, and the dealership generally trusts that you can pay by virtue of you shopping for it(and in the ultrarich world your reputation as wealthy). After the terms are agreed, you go source the financing.

AI companies and Paramount… Hold our beers

10s of billions

Isn’t that normal for transactions of that scale? Billionaires dont really use “their” money for anything its all lones and shares and deals.

I mean, it’s the same when you buy a home or just about anything else. It’s not that surprising to me. It’s just more jarring because of the valuation.

Its called the Man United

Correctamundo

It’s true but not because Ramona said. Dan Woike reported it earlier this morning and he confirmed the sale and no issues with money. He’s a trusted insider for the Lakers.

This has nothing to do with that. They agreed (again) to the price they originally agreed to.

Now Kushner and Iger need to find all the money (which Bill says they are still doing – all we got is “Sources close to the negotiations said that Kushner has assured Walter he’s raised all the money necessary to complete the sale.”) and the NBA has to approve it.

The latter has typically been a rubber stamp, but my guess is they will ask more questions this time. It still likely will go through (there are a lot of rich people out there, and only one LA Lakers) but it won’t be as easy as it would have been even just a year ago.

Gas prices will go down once we win the war for a 10th time!

It’s been exploited for extreme profit.

This is also Ramona reporting it.

It doesn’t say anything about their funding. They just agreed to a price.

He just had to call his traitorous family members.

It doesn’t make sense bc we heard the story from bill then recent stories came out that kushner was calling around and offering stakes starting at 250m. This is prob her jumping the gun trying to rebuild her reputation
