Just a reminder that the Bulls started 5-0 last year

I feel like the Bulls path may be more likely for Memphis, than Houston - but who knows!

I can see Memphis being similar, but their floor is a lot higher than the bulls last year.

It’s miraculous that offence did as well as it did last season without him there to be fair. I’m glad he’s back.

The Rockets lost so many games just being stupid last season. I remember they had a double digit overtime lead on somebody and lost by like 6 points. One of the most incompetent collapses I’ve ever seen.

Just having a sensible adult in the room seems to have fixed their issues.

We were up by 25 against the Pels and lost that gane too but the most annoying one that’s etched in my brain forever is Nets on the road. Watch the end of that game. Juat brain dead play after brain dead play. D-Lo killed us.

Guy is a straight up winning player. Sucks that so much of our fanbase turned on him because of one rough season on his way out.

When you lack good guards, FVV is a major upgrade.

He is an ok starter, dont expert the world from him.

Being the 4th or 5th best guy on a team? Ya he can do that, with others helping out in ball handling and creation.

He iznt going to be your 2nd option offensively while running the offense.

He is an ok starter, dont expert the world from him.

You are kind of underrating him a bit.

Whilst he isn’t an elite shooter by any means, he is one of few high volume shooters in the league that hits it at a respectable percentage (7 3PA on 37% in his career).

He’s one of the better POA defenders in the league, similar to Chris Paul. Very good at pressuring ball handler.

Also like Chris Paul, FVV has consistently one of the best assists to turnover ratio.

Considered in general to be one of the higher IQ players in the league.

His impact to the Rockets team is similar to a lesser version of Chris Paul’s impact to the Suns. Obviously, Suns would expect a lot more of CP3 than what Rockets would expect of FVV, but there is reason FVV is nicknamed ‘Steady Freddy’.

FVV’s trait is uniquely suitable for teams with a lot of young offensive talent but are prone to turnovers and lack consistently PG play.

Thankyou for that observation man

Rockets got underrated before the season started tbh, they got two of their productive players back (FVV & Adams), got rid of DFS and signed Bogdan and Smart, a shooter and an impactful player last year in the Lakers.

Variation99a

Man they beat us the other day (the first of the Hawks two losses to them) without FVV, Adams, or Smart.

Vnaux | OKC

yeah they’re honestly looking scary af, a lot of their players have been contributing. I wished OKC played them before half of the roster got obliterated.

Looks like half of houston will also miss the game against you guys. Our battle will be legendary

I still think their spacing will be an issue in the playoffs. Hard to game plan in season to that but easier in a series.

Yeah healthy rockets took okc to double OT

They were what, a 2 seed last year? Their biggest issue is how long a season is, and the health in line with that.

We have had an incredibly forgiving schedule to start the season, but we were expected to be among the bottom of the barrel teams by a lot of analysts so being able to be bad-to-decent teams at the very least shows they arent bad

Which im all for. Its a super fun team to watch regardless of win total

Rockets will lose on Halloween because I’m going (Also OKC will be on like 3 days rest and the Rockets will have played 3 games in 4 nights and their 7th in 11 days). Assuming they don’t lose their cup game to the Mavs who they will have played 4 times in like 2 ¹⁄₂ weeks.

uwill1der | HOU

Mavs gonna be tough without Smart, Reed, Sengun and Adams

then the b2b with OKC

Stay on that side

Just like we all predicted: Memphis and Houston are the only two teams to start the season 5-0.
