In the win against Portland, Cam Boozer becomes the 4th fastest (in career games played) to record a triple double!
Boozer finished with 18/11/12 in just his 5th NBA game, tying him for the 4th-fastest in NBA history (measured by career games played).
Only three players have achieved a triple-double earlier in their NBA careers:
Oscar Robertson: 1st game (1960)
The famous Art “Hambone” Williams: 4th game (1967)
Ben Simmons: 4th game (2017)
Boozer joins Connie Hawkins (1969) and Magic Johnson (1979), who also achieved their first triple-doubles in their 5th career games.
This also makes him the second youngest player ever to record a triple double (19 years, 103 days), only beat out by Australia’s finest Josh Giddey (19 years, 84 days).
