This might be one of the all time rookie classes at this rate

Ez0cks

Man this rookie class is insane so far

sanjit8103 | DEN

It’s so insanely deep, we have second rounders who are being effective in games from day 1.

ROTY winner changing every game i swear

Pure-Can-9432 | CHA

Still gonna be a bust because his vertical is too low or something. Cant believe people thought the guy who’s best attribute was just playing basketball would be a bust

PREYOVERWATCH

27 | 5 hours ago

Same thing happened with Edey. Winning player, elite by every metric, awesome defense, but doesn’t chuck low % midranges or dunk every possession so he is low ceiling or something.

Pure-Can-9432 | CHA

10 | 5 hours ago

My only issue with Edey is his potential to stay healthy. If injuries were turned off he would be insane

memtiger | MEM

10 | 5 hours ago

I may be wrong, but I don’t think he was injured his entire college career and last year’s injury was the 1st of his career.

He’s a pretty lean but solid dude. He isn’t fat, not super skinny. For someone tall, he’s got the right body to last. So we’ll see. I don’t really have a concern about it

wgking12 | MEM

8 | 5 hours ago

I agree, but many people thought he was too slow and I think he’s surprised a lot of people

Mikeyfreshonetime2 | MEM

1 | 3 hours ago

Too slow? He seemed pretty fast the other night running for the ball. Also kept the pace up tonight.

str8rippinfartz | BOS

1 | 5 hours ago

idk if I saw many people thinking he would be a bust

I think what I saw more of was people questioning his overall ceiling, like “yeah he could maybe be an all-star but could he really be in the All-NBA mix? Shouldn’t you pick a guy with 1st team potential over him like AJ or Peterson?”

saylab_the_bigkat

-11 | 5 hours ago

Life is easy when you can pass to a wide open guy on the perimeter and he knocks it down

LucaZ32 | MEM

6 | 5 hours ago

Great comment. Im sure you watched the game lol

saylab_the_bigkat

-15 | 5 hours ago

I did watch the game. He got bodied by Jrue on multiple post ups. Got beat flat footed by Deni multiple times. All the same weaknesses are still there, as well as the strengths, which is just making the right play.

LucaZ32 | MEM

7 | 5 hours ago

Man, you just crying cause you lost 🤣. Boozer did everything tonight. He scored, rebounded, found the open man, created opportunities for his teamates. It’s not his fault Portland’s defense sucks lol.

Pretty good player for a dude who plays bully ball.

His all around impact on the offensive end is genuinely so insane already, so composed for his age. Once he starts hitting his shots consistently he will be a very scary player to play against

PREYOVERWATCH

4 | 5 hours ago

His defense has been great as well. He looked good against Deni Avdija who is one of the hardest players to guard in the NBA.

This rookie class is kinda crazy

BigFatModeraterFupa | LAL

4 | 5 hours ago

yeah he’s certified. you can’t really teach up certain cerebral skills like knowing how and when to pass.

He’s clearly been raised in the ideal environment to foster a successful nba player, but he also had to work extremely hard to become this good.

Always liked his pops. Well not ALWAYS, but it’s still really cool to see his kid having true success in the NBA 🫡

OwnYourChildren

I would rather watch boozer than AJ, just as a fan of the game. He’s just my kind of player.

DestinysLostSoul | MEM

5 | 5 hours ago

What

ozzyteebaby | NYK

5 | 5 hours ago

I kept screaming for the wiz to draft boozer… they honestly could’ve been title contenders this year if they had

legend023 | NOP

5 | 5 hours ago

Passing on Boozer is like passing on Jokic with hindsight.

ilikekittens2018 | DEN

7 | 5 hours ago

I’d say far worse just cause nobody could’ve seen Jokic coming realistically while Boozer had literally every accolade and advanced stat backing him up. If Boozer pans out as the best from this class ofc which I do expect.

ozzyteebaby | NYK

2 | 5 hours ago

No, few people could see what Jokic was… just about everyone could see what Boozer would be. Esp tonight… playing with grown ass men, not even rookie Bron had this level of composure. Dude played as if he’s been doing this since forever. No bad shots, every read and play was the correct one. Never seen a game so flawless from a 19 year old

Squareroot24

2 | 5 hours ago

They have davis and sarr ,dybantsa,dp and boozer are equally skilled no wrong picks

1PennyHardaway | Penny Hardaway

3 | 5 hours ago

I think Boozer’s numbers are a bit low coz of the system they have, moving the ball around a lot. If they make him their first option i think he can put up monster numbers with good efficiency.

YizWasHere | CHA

11 | 5 hours ago

I mean they’re 5-0. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, no reason for them to force Cam into a scoring role when they’re doing incredibly well with him as a facilitator.

PREYOVERWATCH

5 | 5 hours ago

He gets plenty of shots up but he has been shooting horribly until this game. Like 29% from the field.

He does everything else well so they have still been winning but against better teams they need his shooting

1PennyHardaway | Penny Hardaway

4 | 5 hours ago

He’s a rookie, still adjusting to the game and it’s just a few games in. His fg% will get better. He is know to be efficient.
