I checked the box score and did a triple take. Only 2 bench players in double digits. In October. What the fuck are you doing

The rotations were bad. They were entering the 4th with like 33 minutes played already and it was a pretty close game so you know they were going to play most of it.

Being young doesn’t mean you’re invincible

You ever heard of lungs

And he only plays hard on offense and was having his best game to date, he played full games in college for what thats worth, and today his match up was Jeremiah fear both play lil defense

Cardwell is a very good screen setter, too, with his big body. My comment had a 3-4yr timeline in mind, though.

Keegan has had it so rough recently injury wise. I’m actually excited to see Acuff play with Cardwell/Keegan more

This game it was Precious, even though he fumbled a lot, Precious can just will himself into the dunker spot.

Yep. None of these haters watched a single minute of a kings game so far this season.

I didnt watch the game but basic reading comprehension tells me he was really efficient overall with a 2:1 assists to turnovers and a positive +/- which sounds great for a rookie less than 10 games in on a bad team.

He had 14 assists tonight, are we seriously acting as if he isn’t sharing the ball?

Kings fans that actually watch the games say this yes because you don’t watch the games if you genuinely just said Lavine

Lavine is an absolute destroyer in a way that is impossible to understand if you don’t actually watch him. There’s no player whose numbers are more misleading. He’s a basketball satan.

DOES THAT SAY HUNTER 💀

Oh he also had 14 assists with his bum teammates missing layups

Lavine literally lost us 3 fucking games he’s fucking betting against the kings and literally is horrible. He’s bricking horrible shot attempts when Acuff has been on fire. You clearly aren’t watching the games and are just talking shit on a 19 yo superstar

Those are literally the only players on our team and we’re not being dramatic.

Our bench had 8 points tonight. They had 14 last game and almost all of it was garbage time.

We have no talent on this roster outside those players you just named and Acuff

Lavine is getting plenty of shot attempts and the offense sucks anytime he’s on the floor. Literally he had a -25 in 39 minutes tonight, which means the Kings outscored the Pels 13 points in 9 mins with him off the floor.

Hunter is meh, he’s getting his shot attempts. It’s pretty clear you haven’t actually watched the kings play at all

Someone’s def not watching the game lmao

If it means developing our rookie and letting him get confidence during a dead season, let that dude shoot. Were not even 10 games into the season. Its not like anyone is expecting anything from us this year. He isnt robbing us of our chance to get into the playoffs

Wouldn’t you rather fast track Acuff’s development than watch Zach chuck threes and take off after the year ends

Kings are 0-5 and none of these guys will be here for the future except acuff (maybe sabonis) id give him that green light over anyone

Box score watchers are obnoxious lol

You’re really trying to hype up Lavine 🤣🤣🤣

Actually watch a game before commenting.

Acuff literally had 14 assists this game??

Literally all of Hunter’s baskets are assisted by acuff

Sabonis has a lot of flaws but hes elite at passing. Acuff needs to be playing off ball more. Hes such a great shooter that he would benefit immensely from letting Sabonis handle the ball more in the game. Defenses just know hes going to jack shit up and double or triple team him every time. Which does not help him

I mean did you see how many assists he had? Looks like you’re getting a high usage #1 option and chucking confused

Lavine and Hunter are both on their last year of bad contracts, doubt anyone’s looking to trade assets for them. Sabonis has another year and doesn’t look great either, is not ball dominant. Would much rather develop our young players than trying to get value for these vets. It happened all last year with Derozan and Westbrook getting tons of minutes and it amounted to nothing as predicted.

lol even when he shoots 50% y’all are negative as fuck. Sorry, but if your rookie guard is on fire, you WANT him to keep shooting, fuck a chucking label. You know who is one of the greatest chuckers ever? Kobe Bryant. But he was liable to catch fire at any moment, so he had the green light.

And this whole idea that “Lavine is more efficient so he should shoot more” is kinda dumb because it’s not Acuff’s fault that Lavine doesn’t shoot more.

Lavine has been here longer than Acuff, and he’s never been a high-volume shooter. He randomly decides when he wants to try.

If you’re looking at it simply as “shots Acuff takes are shots Lavine doesn’t take” well that’s just ignoring all of the context that goes into basketball.

Honestly box score watchers are kind of annoying because they just eliminate all nuance from the game.

Acuff was 8 of 11 in the first half. He got less efficient because he was gassed because the coach wouldn’t play anyone else; also not Acuff’s fault. There were numerous times on the floor where Acuff was the only person with playmaking ability.

He also could have easily had 17+ assists, from EASY opportunities squandered by the Kings being complete ASS.

Again, takes like these sound good on the surface, but they completely ignore what actually happened in the game.

The number of shots he took this game were 100% warranted, and acting like anyone can drop 34 & 13 on 50% shooting whenever they wanted to if they play 40 minutes is fucking hilarious. 19 year old rookie by the way

Sabonis don’t wanna shoot.

This sub also got so mad about how cocky Ant said was in other sports lol an Alpha being cocky is what you freaking expect for a #1 and he is in the perfect spot with rhe GM working witchcraft to keep turning the roster more and more talented each year.

I love Acuff’s green light but I definitely need the head coach fired. He just going to burn this kid out before ASB

young harden on okc was considered an above average defender with good hands.

He just played 41 minutes where he touched the ball every possession. I’m not sure one can ask him to try more this game in particular without his heart giving out.

If we want to talk about effort, that clip to start the second half last game applies.

You’re actually an ai account. Lmao

There’s a cult? Where do I sign up?

I don’t have much left to root for guys, you understand.

Haters are worse than fans though, man.

You’d think a raptors fan would appreciate the fact that you need atleast ONE real star level scorer to win a championship. You can’t get it done with 15 6’9” “dawg mentality” Africans

You support a guy who scams people

I’d sacrifice a testicle for a legit point guard on the Magic. I don’t get it, man.

People don’t like small guards who shoot a lot because they feel like they “don’t play the game the right way”. That’s why people hated Steph so much early on to people though 3PT shooting was a gimmick and bad way to play basketball.

Some of yall must be young and not remember early Steph discussion. It was weird. There was a contingent of people openly cheering for him to fail.

He already is in his first 5 games. Lavine is hot trash

On the 0-5 Kings (I say that with no ill will)

aesthetic really pleases a lot of people, he’s such a losing player

The 2021-22 Bulls were great until Lonzo got hurt. It may have been short-lived, but he was certainly on something “close to a good team.”

Michus bortus junis

I do think people are overlooking his defense. I’m not trying to shit on the guy, and I try to preface it with him being an amazing offensive player.

But anyone arguing his defense isn’t that bad is simply not watching closely. They’ll watch him play ISO defense serviceably enough, while they ignore his constant ball watching and not getting back on defense. He essentially plays pick up ball type defense, which is fine for straight up isolation… but unacceptably bad in organized NBA games.

14, it’s wild he’s being called a chucket when he’s displaying some just great vision and passing

Kings fans need to stop talking like this dude is the only person who can score when lavine is a better, more accomplished scorer than him at every level. He doesn’t need to shoot 30 times.
