Flagg’s playmaking leap this season has been great to see. Makes him an even bigger threat than he already was.

Not his most efficient game but he still puts up the points.

Doesn’t need to be the most efficient if he’s gonna have 8 dimes and 0 TOs.
His turnover economy is special for a wing that likes to initiate. I feel he will never be an uber efficient scorer, but he will win the possession battle through suppressing turnovers and stocking on the other end. Only thing I feel he could improve is his offensive rebounding, don’t see why he couldn’t get 1-2 a game.
He’s too good at finishing going either way with both hands not to become an efficient scorer. Whether he becomes a good 3 point shooter is one thing, but he should become an absolute top tier elite rim finisher once he’s fully filled out while also getting to the line a lot (maybe not Shai/Luka levels, but up towards 7 fta per like Tatum). That should have his TS consistently in the 60’s in his prime even if he never becomes an above average 3pt shooter. I think he can get to upper 30’s eventually the same way Luka eventually did though on less volume.
His feel for the game was the thing that really wowed me pre-draft and has continued to do so.
Tbf, he missed about 4-5 of those paint floaters he usually makes. This guy may never have a 35%+ something 3 ball and I’m still super happy because of his floaters, middies and FT%.
Yeah I honestly think he will have a better career than Wemby. Flagg is the closest thing to Lebron, so his potential is limitless really.

That’s his weakest area. Felt the Thunder are daring him to shoot the three. But once he get’s efficient from there it’s over.
He’s had a habit going back to college of starting the year shooting the 3 poorly, then improving as the year goes on.

Flagg is very reasonably the safer bet. He’s an understood archtype, and he’s shaping up to be the best two-way player since Kawhi. I admire his motor and feel for the game.
Wemby’s floor and ceiling is wider. He could be a lot of things, including the greatest to ever dribble a basketball. I think most GMs take a swing at drafting the next Kareem over the next Kawhi
Coop is also a massively better playmaker than Kawhi. His ceiling is sky-high
Coop is closer to reach Kawhi than Wemby is to reach Kareem though
I’d take Coop over Wemby just for the risk of injuries is so much higher with Wemby

He’s an elite offensive player even if he looks rough sometimes initiating. The Spurs offense would be so much worse without him.

AD had like 1 good game with the Wizards so far lol. Bubble AD was a beast but since then after his injuries he’s become very inconsistent.
AD would slow the game down demanding post ups. Dusty wants to get in transition as much as possible.

I’m fine. It was time to move on from AD. This is Cooper’s team now. And defense will still be nasty, offense will still be nasty.
AD gummed everything down offensively and frankly just doesn’t move well anymore. Our team defense without him this year is a million times better than when he was on the court.
Another reason they had to move him was to get over the Luka trade and start afresh.
Also to free up cap space. Having $60m locked up with an impending extension is no way to rebuild a team. His trade allowed us to sign Biberovic with the MLE with 12m to spare, Sasser on the BAE and draft Sergio with the Thunder pick. And by letting Middleton, Bagley and AJ go, it allowed us to absorb Zacc and his contract who has been amazing on his own.
I’d much rather have the cap flexibility than deal with the AD nonsense every night
