Transitioned into a 6’9’ CP3
He transitioned into Magic Johnson.
like how we always envisioned he would
That happened 6 years ago
If only he had the 37% from 3 and 87% from the line…
10 assist and 0 turnovers
What a fucking clean double double, he’s slotting so well focusing on offense and defense instead of scoring. I just know he could still drop another 30 if really needed, but he must be loving this.
This fuckery has to end
Watching LeBron lately is weird because he goes through stretches where he doesn’t hustle, misses a few bunnies, and doesn’t have the burst you’re used to seeing him have, and you think “man this guy looks washed”. And then he has a highlight play where he turns back the clock and dominates a 5 minute stretch where he looks like his prime self.
It just feels like you don’t know what version is going to show up when. Leads to a fun watch.
He’s been like this for the past 2 years, he’s just old lol
I swear I remember stretches like this back in the later Cleveland days lol
It’s been since his Cleveland days when he started having back problems. Phil Handy told a story about LeBron not playing “hard” in the regular season. Phil said sorry to him after game 3 in the 2015 playoffs about his play and LeBron told him something like, “ Phil I got to go through the regular season to make sure I’m at my Apex for the postseason.”
4m a year for little stretches of prime LeBron makes me so jealous. How do I convince the 76ers to trade him to the rockets.
What’s even more crazy is the return they making from him like merchandising, tickets sales and all the other stuff. So that 4mil or whatever it is he’s getting is small change cause they coming out on top, financially wise but for the championship we’ll have to wait and see.
You gotta pick and choose your battles when you’re over 40. Unsustainable to go 100% for the whole game anymore at that age.
Or it’s October and he don’t give a shit (yet).
That’s basically choosing your battles as well, young LeBron could afford to give a shit in October
Not that he doesn’t give a shit but the season just started. Just give him time to ramp up.
Idk ive seen him go all out in the playoffs a couple months ago, I think hes just managing himself
100%
Oh he’ll go when its needed, you just gotta wait till April to see it.
He’s been in-game load managing for almost 5 years now. Finding every opportunity to conserve energy.
People have been getting tricked every regular season since he left Miami. Dude trolling y’all atp.
As someone on the east coast that hasn’t watched a ton of LeBron the last few years is he typically a slow starter or does he truly not lock in and give a until he has to.( losing in the 2nd half/ 4th quarter/ playoffs)
As he’s aged he locks in when the game needs him to.
Does he look relatively the same as last year or is there a step back in athleticism or is it truly a few months away until he gets his legs under him
He literally looks like he’s coasting. I don’t think people realized how much of a High flyer he was last year in LA
Dude was dunking like crazy last year. I don’t see that so far, and it feels by design.
For the past few yrs, it takes a month or 2 for Bron to really find his rhythm and get his legs under him. I guess this is both due to his age and nagging injuries on his foot and the sciatica last yr. He ramps it up around ASB.
He was taking more shots but playing lazier on defense the last couple years
He’s purposely holding back. Obviously he’s lost steps compared to his prime but you’ll see the difference eventually when he ramps it up. Coasting rn.
Really hope he can get his shot back. Spacing with embiid would be a lot better because right now they’re sagging off him a lot
It’s a little of both he always picks up towards the end of the season and when he decides to lock in he’s a top 10 player.
On the sixers he has to do a lot less so I’ll imagine he’s going to have way more moments where he takes plays off and turns it on when needed. But late season Lebron is goated.
In LA he typically would go a couple qts of not shooting or looking to pass, and was normally one of the top 4th qt scorers. He’s always been that way for awhile. Where he’d have 15 heading into the 4th and end with 28
He’s been around so long he doesn’t value a whole regular season and I respect it. Every year we’d hope Embiid could approach the regular season the same way to insure a healthy playoff run but he’s incapable to turn it down a notch and we always needed every minute of him to even make the playoffs. My god do we need another big
He doesn’t really lock in until March, but this year probably not until April if the rest of the squad doesn’t implode
I think it’s a testament to how good he is and why his longevity is what it is. That’s really always been how LeBron played since he got back to Cleveland and it’s why you’ll hear a lot of old heads hating on him, but it’s why he’s still playing today. He knows when he needs to turn it on.
It’s not just lately, he’s been doing this since like 2017, back then he used to just jog and be extremely lazy on defense for a few stretches, while still having the energy to go all out on offense. Now he needs to take some rest on offense as well sometimes.
I think he’s getting old, getting into game shape, and coasting a bit. It’s peak old man game. Long as he has no new injuries he will look fine
LeBron starts ramping up around early March and by the time playoffs start he’s averaging a smooth 25/8/8
If they make it to the playoffs which they should barring injury woes I’m curious how he’ll perform. He might take over more
Finally everyone on the same playing level when he’s off 🤣
You just described someone’s 40s in a nutshell lol
He misses a lot of bunnies now. Also doesn’t get calls like he should still.

LEod management
I hope he just pushes it to the point of absurdity, play til 55. might as well.
Teams would keep signing him just for the jersey sales
I mean I think even 45 would be pushing it to absurdity if he’s actually still at this level especially
He’ll play 2 more seasons, then retire at the next Olympics.
Dude could be a quality role player and sixth man when he’s fifty if he chose to be.
Could he win the 6MOY award? Or does he need to come off the bench for that?
Has to be off the bench
Washed LeBron is putting up prime John Stockton stat lines.
LeBron Jadontturndaballova
Yea these are monster numbers from your 4th best contributor. Jaylen and Maxey doing the heavy lifting.

Currently the 3rd most valuable contract in the league according to darko https://www.darko.app/?season=2027&sort=surplus_value&cols=value
That ranking has Cooper Flagg at 240 lmao
Darko Milicic with the insight
No turnovers is the best part
LeBron is playing like a Great General or something you would use in some kind of strategy warfare game… Like, keep him on the field but towards the back until you can use his special ability which boosts output for 10 minutes and hopefully turns the tide of the battle.
Crazy to do all that in 4 minutes of playing time
Ok
Assists are overrated. He can’t even bend the defense, yet he gets assists just by passing the ball.
Good bait
It’s just a number that suggests he connected with his team well. How many assists would you average?
Surely rebounds are more overrated than assists
We really making posts for mid performances now? Just because a player is “41 years old”? This is gonna be a long season if we have to see these kind of posts after every game.
Your parents were still proud of you even though you’re also mid right? If not then I can see why you salty and comment stupid stuff like this.
Yes, every time he laces up its historic. You can ignore it and keep on moving but you’d think you’d appreciate the unprecedented longevity and production we’re seeing.
But if he has 10 turnovers and 2 assist would it be worth a post?
Do u know how easy it is scroll past a post
Why is “41 years old” in quotes lol.
He’s the oldest player in the league every game from him is technically historic. Doesn’t always need a separate post though I agree.
He’s playing with 3 other all stars. He can get 5 assists alone just by doing pick and roll with Embiid. The glazing is unreal
