The 3-ball still isn’t balling but Barnes absolutely was. He was especially dominant in the 3rd quarter where he scored 16 of his 28 points - including a personal 6-0 to add insult to injury, pun not intended (Get healthy soon, Suggs & Paolo!).

The exact sort of response you should expect from a franchise player.

I was so sad to have a 1 day weekend last week. Monday was miserable for me

Scottie can hit middies so well, but as soon as he steps beyond the arc he is a brick machine for some reason.

anyways he was so aggressive tonight. Need this version of scottie and not float around in the corner scottie.

The DeMar/KG special

ole_unis | Canada

man KG’s game makes me so mad. How did no one tell him to take one step back on his long 2s

FKJVMMP | MIL

2 | 3 hours ago

Because he sucked at them. He played for a million years so even on low volume he’s got a reasonable career sample size, and that extra step back tanked the shit out of his percentages.

ole_unis | Canada

2 | 3 hours ago

I know, but if KG played in the current era I know he would’ve developed a 3 ball, and that kind of makes me sad. There are so many players in older eras that would be much better if they grew up today.

Real ones remember Charles Oakley’s long ass 2 pointers that were money

Comprehensive-Ad424 | TOR

idk which journalist it was, but someone suggested that his mechanics would be better suited for pull up rather than C&S threes, his middie is so crisp off the bounce, maybe thats what he needs to do to unlock the three

schoolhater12 | TOR

7 | 3 hours ago

It’s just an eye test thing but I feel the same way. I don’t trust him to hit open threes but i trust the pull up three

keyrinn | TOR

He can just walk up to the rim and score if he feels like it it’s crazy

CazOnReddit [OP] | TOR

Just needs to keep up his Grant Hill impression and no one will complain.

Not against Gobert clearly and probably Wemby but no one else can stop him

heliosflama1234 | CLE

Literally only when playing bad teams like the wizards. It’s crazy how obvious it is that he’s not good and just hacks dudes on defense then cries every time he’s called for obvious fouls. Mid is probably overrating him.

Corniest Scottie Barnes hater of all time is back with another terrible take.

your shit ass team is going to choke once again in the playoffs and everyone will laugh 😂

Last game he was sulking and moping around the court. Today he was raging and screaming. This is the guy we know. Last game he looked like he just fought with his girl or some shit.

Sunday night was clearly an aberrartion for Scottie.

And I wouldn’t even call it a good scoring game by him, a lot of his points were quite free and off good defense by him and the team…. A very quiet 28 points. He has so much potential as a scorer!!!

Scottie Barnes is my front runner for DPOY right now

It’s early, but my god his defence has been insane this season… he’s an absolute wall. Locked guys up

heliosflama1234 | CLE

-16 | 3 hours ago

He’s a solid hacker. Not a good player but shows up vs bad teams decently. Hes not even in the all defense convo

Serviceofman

This is a terrible take… there’s no way you watch Raptors games if this is your take lol he’s been insanley impressive on the defensive end this season.

Scottie Barnes is literally #1 in the NBA in defensive rating right now LOL look it up.

Not to mention, he locked your Cavs up in the playoffs and was the best player in that series, so you of all people shouldn’t be hating lol

I can’t stand when people who don’t watch opposing players play, talk shit about them…

Cheechers23 | TOR

See us again in the playoffs that series is four games long and ends with Mitchell and Harden sipping on pina coladas in cancun

marktron3k | CLE

Apparently 28/6/4 against an injured team that gave up in the second quarter is DOMINANT.

CazOnReddit [OP] | TOR

bigt2k4 | TOR

In a series featuring Harden, Mobley, and Mitchell he was unquestionably the best player on the floor.

Scottie Barnes responds to Sunday’s stinker with a dominant performance against the Orlando Magic. He checks out with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals & 3 blocks.
