Fans can trade in:- Clippers Swingman or Authentic jersey- Other NBA teams’ jersey featuring current Clippers player- No year restriction- Giveaway jerseys and other jerseys are not eligible- Adult sizes S-2XL only, no youth sizes available.

At the first jersey swap (season opener), I saw people trading in youth sizes their kids didn’t fit into anymore, and Lakers jerseys from Hachimura and Ingram, and plenty of Kawhi/PG13 jerseys.

Honestly cool of the team to allow fans to do this. Plenty of franchises would just the opportunity to gouge fans some more. Portland owner probably broke out in hives just reading this tweet.

Would planting trees be good PR? I’m legit serious with this question. 99% of the time it would be, but I can’t imagine it would feel good from a fan’s perspective.

It’s great PR to people that care but it doesn’t get any attention and go “viral” like they want.

Same. I want to see him do well In San Antonio. I know he forced his way off our team, but I honestly don’t blame him. They fired the best coach we’ve had in a while (again) and have showed very few signs of improvement since then. I’m still a Kings fan, but I don’t blame him for leaving. InTheMorning_Nightss | LAC

13 | 6 hours ago

I mean, in terms of value, there’s like a million Kawhi jerseys and I’m sure a ton of LAC fans who want nothing to do with Kawhi. Meanwhile, Hachimura is still on the team, there’s far fewer of his jerseys in circulation, and Rui has a giant market from Japanese fans lol.

No-Difference-5890

-8 | 5 hours ago

In terms of value, there’s no way you actually think this lol.

I’m also not gonna lie, it’s super funny to see clippers fans say they hate Kawhi now while they defending the clippers and him all summer saying this sub and all nba talk show hosts dumb for dragging the clippers and kawhi

InTheMorning_Nightss | LAC

4 | 4 hours ago

Once it was clear we were trading him, LAC fans basically gave up defending him and just cared about our punishment.

And in terms of value? Absolutely. It’s a less circulated jersey for a legitimate fan favorite.

DisMeDog

2 | 3 hours ago

I don’t know why people like you talk as if Kawahi was some Clippers legend. Dude accomplished literally nothing on the team and was hurt most of the time. Even without him costing them picks I wouldn’t be shocked that clippers fans don’t like him.

I_Hate_Humidity | SAC

4 | 4 hours ago

I bought like 6x Kawhi jerseys for essentially $10 each when the Team LA Store was having a Clippers clearance sale back in 2014.

Trading in one of the Kawhi jerseys that didn’t fit to get a $140 swingman of a current player was totally worth it.

Besides I don’t think it’s culturally accepted to wear Kawhi jerseys at Clipper games anymore; it seemed like most people were trading in their Kawhi’s as well and I legit don’t think I saw a KL2 jersey being worn at the game I was at.

Kaladin_951 | LAL

19 | 7 hours ago

KingInTheFarNorth | MEM

5 | 5 hours ago

It’s also a very savvy move, the people swapping his jersey will be the ones who are most disgusted with Kawhi so they guarantee they’ll have a crowd that hates his guts, should make for an entertaining game (if Kawhi plays)

Literally at the center of two franchise killing moves lmao. The PG trade was part of getting Kawhi to sign with the clippers, and of course the cap circumvention on top of that. He didn’t even accomplish much during his tenure either.

Unendingmelancholy | TOR

Dude he abandoned a potential dynasty to join your bum ass team and made you guys relevant for the first time since Blake and cp3 and he didn’t take money out of your pocket

Lets_Go_Blue__Jays

-20 | 7 hours ago

I am curious.

From an outside perspective, he generally played hard. Brought many wins and continued to be a top player in the league when healthy.

You can’t control health, but that was a risk that was taken when he signed.

The contract situation should be irrelevant for the fans. That is solely on your front office and shouldn’t impact your perception of a top player.

[Russo] The LA Clippers are doing a second jersey swap on Nov. 2, 2026, when Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors visit. It’ll run from 4-6:30 p.m. All fans with a valid ticket to the game can do a swap, limited to one per person while supplies last.
