This would’ve been an all-time great tweet if a rookie publicly threw Julius Randle under the bus after only his fourth game in the league.

Not until after the all star break lol. They need him happy for a spell

The Nets are letting Randle pound the ball all he wants, he’ll be happy all year.

Crazy to chirp a kid playing in his 3rd ever NBA game for “choking” in that moment when he payed an amazing game otherwise.

Justalittlejewish | BOS

I don’t even think you can be too upset as a nets fan because he was really the largest reason it went to OT in the first place.

If the nets keep playing like that they’re going to start winning games

Premaximum | BKN

8 | 9 hours ago

Yeah that’s my feeling on it. Not mad about it because he got us there, and it’s a valuable lesson for him in the future. Anyone who expects the play in or even the playoffs this year for us is thinking way too far ahead. This is still a development year for us. We’re gonna look bad. Once we dump Randle somewhere it’s the signal that we’re ready to try to actually compete.

asetniop | BOS

5 | 9 hours ago

Yeah, if he’s going to make this kind of mistake and learn to never do it again it’s probably just as well to get it out of the way in the fourth game of his career.

Chartate101 | DET

52 | 10 hours ago

Its the Julius Randle MPJ Nets

I don’t understand why anyone cares about him making that mistake even, this is a pure development year. “Clutch mistake, but you are the reason they even got to the clutch” is a valid thing to be mad about on a contender but I would be far more excited about his prospects showing through than losing a league pass game to a contender in October lol

His best play of the night was a one handed pass to the opposite corner that didn’t count as an assist because his teammate missed the shot. You clearly just watched the highlights

I hear you but owning up to a mistake that’s done on the 5th game of the regular season is much less daunting than game 4 of the NBA finals

Eatingolivesoutofjar

7 | 4 hours ago

I don’t even think this was as bad as Fox, regardless of game importance. Fox was in the open floor and could’ve easily wasted more clock, Brown caught it on a run to the baseline. Brown was going to get fouled right away, his mistake really only gave the Celtics 3 seconds instead of two ish. And he would’ve had to hit both free throws. The missed bunny is really the only reason it’s so glaring.

boringexplanation | SAC

Yeah- we used to have a player like that. Really annoyed us too. I winder happened to him?

iBarber111

27 | 7 hours ago

Why would being injured cause you to make an idiotic clock management decision?

Laggo | TOR

2 | 4 hours ago

cause if hes full strength he pretty easily keeps the gap between him and OG and makes the layup a lot simpler, he probably assumed he could just push it in the moment and his body didn’t move as fast as his mind thought it would

I was ready to say he is HIM based on some of his late game play and early OT. Then he bricked a bunch in a row, missed a layup, then made this decision. Cost them the game (after getting it to OT)

nixourbis | BKN

9 | 10 hours ago

The 3s in OT he missed were painful, all halfway down. You can see he jacked them up too soon. The missed layups were pretty inexcusable though. I liked his mistakes a lot more than Randle with his butterfingers though

He was chucking up 3s late in the game like he was Steph. I was surprised the headcoach didn’t yell at him to stop it! Eventually cost them the game
