Im ngl Robinson’s per 36 rebounding numbers are half of what he did last year. Its been kind of a disappointment

I feel like they’re force feeding him lobs and hes not finishing a great % of them, honestly he fumbles the pass or isnt in the right place, which hits the passer for a TO not Robinson, so its hard to get that out of a box score.
The blocks are ok, but he seems like a bad defender in space.

Yeah I’d assumed his hands would be a lot better for a guy that good at rebounding. Maybe he’ll get used to those incisive passes from Tatum and PG over time but for now he seems clumsy.
Probably has to play himself into shape, hes always been an out of shape guy and the Knicks are clearly showing some championship hangover

I mean, very few people respect playmaking as much as scoring/more obvious things. That’s how JB won finals MVP over him. He had an off shooting series, but his facilitating and ALL the other little things were a huge reason we dominated so hard even with that
I wouldn’t say one of the best passers. But he’s not going to make live-ball turnovers. Many of them are from offensive fouls

Ngl I think he has a strong case to be top 3 in MVP voting this year, maybe even win. Obviously it’s very early but I don’t see why couldn’t win. Imo he could have a strong case to maybe even win depending on a few factors

I was personally worried about how he’d look after the Achilles - he’s not the jump shooter KD is, so his return was going to be different than KD’s, but he looks every bit as good - hell, I’d even say better than before the Achilles which is insane. His rebounding + playmaking got a lot better than it was.

I was never all that worried about it, since his game doesn’t really revolve around speed, but it’s good to see him still beating big men off the dribble with ease.
His rebounding this season has actually been worse, but I kinda expect that to change with how he rebounded after coming back last season, unless Robinson and Queta actually start grabbing some
The top five this year is stacked: Jokic, Luka, SGA, Wemby, Giannis is no order. But I’d say he’s the most complete and versatile player in the league. They way he’s looking now, he’s better than Brunson. Ant, and Cade.

Giannis is a monster, people underrate him. He’s still one of the most efficient and unstoppable downhill scorers of all time. He’s definitely in the top five, no question. Closer to the best in the league than the sixth in the league

He’s not in the tier 1 Luka, Hali, Jokic tier of playmaker. But it’s hard to argue he’s not in the next tier. He’s been so good since that finals playoff run with his playmaking. He never has had in the past the raw usage to put up gaudy assist numbers but he has nearly every pass in the book and can read the game with the best.
