My guy Mikel sold ngl. But dude passes the eye test so easily imo, he’s gonna be good
Awful awful awful mistake to finish the game, overall a brutal OT for him. Granted one of the main reasons we got to OT.
He’s the most dynamic guard we have right now, just also apparently a little dumb.
Hes been on a minutes restriction of some kind so far, and idk if this puts him in the dog house either. That being said, he should be the full time starting point sooner than later, one for his development, and two because he arguably gives us better odds of winning a game than the other options.
He had a roller coaster of a game. Was brutal before the final stretch of the 4th quarter too. But on the other hand some of his misses in OT were barely in and out rolls
I think almost if not all of them were in and outs.
I liked Nolan starting tn
He’s a baby man. Declaring him dumb is so absurd
Only watched the OT of this game but man he can get to anywhere he wants on the court with his handles.
With some sharpeshooting to boot. This OT wasn’t a great representation of him, but I think Brooklyn got a hit in Brown. Now the rest of this young core…
Traore looked great tonight, offense looked fluid with him leading as PG. First time that happened all season.
0/5 FG in the last 90 seconds after the heroics at the end of regulation is heartbreaking ngl
Doesn’t matter, we don’t control our 1st this year so may as well take the team off life support
bro he’s got that jason terry fearless/forgetfulness in him
his mid range has been straight gravy this season
Is gravy smoother than butter?
only when there’s lamb chops
What about the lamb chops
I just wish he’d go to it more throughout the game as opposed to saving it for key moments
Tatum now 1-0 up on Brown this season. Stay ready.
another serving of lamb chops and gravy
It’s a war on the whole lineage.
Wym
Mikal Brown
Ahh makes sense
Jayson Tatum’s PR team wins the game at the buzzer!
And people tried to say he would never be the same.
Jayson Tatum is BACK BABY
In my experience, people really do love saying that.
Tbf thats how it used to be though, medical science has advanced a lot.
People love saying this and also love saying every player returning from injury rushed back too soon
Am pretty sure he’s the one that said that in a marketing campaign
I believe in hell because I’m a nets fan.
Bro this game was soooo much better than the others
Super tough for him. He looked fucking good today
Brown did a great job bringing the Nets back in regulation, but he blew it hard in OT. 3 or 4 missed shots before this one too when they only needed 1 bucket.
Mikel “De’aaron Fox” Brown Jr
Jayson Tatum HOW DO YOU DOOOOO!!!
Where was this again? Lmao
Eric Collins (Hornets guy) calling Cs v Philly playoff game
gotta post the Tatum GW with qualifiers lol
MBJ extended the game to OT so JT could get 40. Kidding aside, kid got game.
Mikel turning into Steph and that bullshit call on Queta are the only reason it even went to OT, so I’ll consider this even.
Unfortunate end to a crazy game from him.
MPJ also got on one of those white hot streaks where you need to face guard him.
The shot Mikel hit that sent it into overtime reminded me of when Hugo hit a corner 3 in Brooklyn to send it into DE. Walking away with the win would’ve made it even
Kinda a dumb take “only reason it went to overtime was the other teams player played good. “
…
Whats dumb is you not realizing this is a compliment, not a jab
Only reason it went to overtime was cuz the other team scored the same number of points.
… yes. He’s saying Mikel played really well despite his boneheaded meltdown at the end. How did you miss this this twice?
Mikel “De’Aaron Fox” Brown Jr, welcome to the NBA
Calling that a rookie mistake gives him too much grace.
Fox made this mistake on the biggest stage as a 10 year vet
Tony Stark made this mistake in a cave
with a box of scraps
Fox did it with 15 seconds left, Mikel literally could’ve held the ball and gave Boston 3 seconds left to throw up a bad shot.
it happens. He’ll learn
He is a rookie, and it was a mistake
By definition, it was a rookie mistake.
Thank you for attending my TED Extra talk.
Mikel giveth, Mikel taketh away.
Mikel taketh, Mikel giveth.
— Celtics fan POV
Yesssssssirrrrrrr
They have to give out a shoutout to PG defending and corralling that rebound.PG giving rook a “Welcome to the NBA” Moment.Brown, Jr. gets his flowers tonight, but that was a huge fumble (not waiting for the foul). There would be no game-winner without it.
Not even a rookie mistake. That should be known by everyone to make them foul you in that situation.
Would be so poetic for him to win clutch player of the year
absolutely legendary tank job
Happy for him, he seems to be recovering just fine.
Jaylen Brown comparisons incoming.
The kid is talented but man those were some tough mistakes. That being said Kudos to Brooklyn it looks like they finally have their franchise player they can build around.
Let’s chill on calling Brown a franchise player after a single good game lol
Let’s chill on calling it a good game. He went 5⁄17.
He’s already shown more than Egor has in 50 more games. Egor is tissue soft
my comment was certainly not insinuating that Egor is a franchise player
It’s game number 4 in the season and dude has had a single game lol calm down
