[Lowlight] Mikel Brown Jr. tries to go for the layup
He pulled a DeAaron Fox.All he had to do was hold the ball, my god.
Hey man. It’s still too soon.
Fuck I thought I’ve forgotten that shit
What is he doing folks?
The ol’ Cayden Boozer
This is worse than Fox. Fox had a fast break and was caught, plus there was more time left. This is literally “run the other way and the game is basically over.”
A 30 year old guard making a bonehead play in the final secs of Game 4 in The NBA Finals is not worse than a Rookie Guard doing the same in the 4th Game of the regular season.
His 3rd game too. And the first one where he scored over 10. In Boston’s environment.
I wouldn’t even be that mad at him if I was coaching. Learning moment.
Fox tho…
Think he means worse shot quality not worse 1:1 given the situations
I certainly hope so, or he should be banned from NBA threads.
It was even worse than that cuz he just missed 2 threes and smoked a layup the previous 3 possessions before this all trying to put the game away. Was the hero that forced ot and gave them the lead but went 0/4 on closing the game and this low bball iq meme. Rooks gonna rook
Yea but without him hitting that ridiculous 3 they wouldn’t even be in OT.
Stupid fuckin mistakes man

Annnnnnd Tatum game winner. You probably only learn that lesson once.
Rookie giveth, rookie taketh.
Basketball IQ poof
I think when you’re a rookie it’s probably “don’t foul, don’t drop the pass” and everything else is muscle memory
I was trying warn my fellow clippers fans that he does give jordan poole vibes with his basketball IQ and shot selection
Bro this is his fourth game in the NBA
He’s a very smart player just a rookie mistake
Ur only saying this cuz we didn’t pick him ( Keaton looks great)
Not really, i have been very constant about his shot selection
He’s much more methodical than Jordan Poole but this was very dumb on his part. No complaints about Keaton tho, he’s looking the part
If you look at some of the stuff anonymous comments draft scouts had on him, they said that his decision making was suspect. First signs shown tonight, but if he can fix that up he’ll have a good career for sure.
This was the equivalent of a running back not falling down to kill the clock for a field goal and trying to score a touchdown only to fumble the ball celebrating and the other team returns it to get a chance at a last second field goal.
I thought it was like when an idiot tries to go for a layup up 1 with 2 seconds on the clock and misses personally.
Personally I agree
Personally I like giving metaphors for things that don’t need them but then again I ate dinner like a dog who had an appetite and also enjoyed their food.
Rookie giveth Celtics the win
deaaron fox influence
Single handily got them into OT, and single handily lost them the game
Awful time management, he did it in 2 straight plays even. Yikes
This was his only dumb decision down the stretch. The other miss layup was just a missed layup, he ran the clock down, broke down him man, made him move he just couldn’t finish.
Now this wasn’t a rookie mistake this was an ego play. He wanted to be the one to say he won it. Hopefully he’ll learn from it.
Yeah I’m sure he’ll be fine, he played well otherwise. Maybe it’s even better this happened for his development, it’ll hopefully be a lesson learned for him and he’ll be all the better for it in the future.
Rookie mistake. Pulled a Fox.
So Fox’s was also a rookie mistake?
Is it though? Rookie mistake would be like not going for a 2 for 1 with 34 seconds left in a quarter. 100% the coach would have told his team to hold on to the ball and make them foul you. And even an highschool freshman would know to hold the ball there.
This is an ego play not a rookie mistake.
Splitting hairs
Imagine doing this in the NBA Finals
Yeah this is unbelievable lol I can’t help but laugh at this shit. Least surprising part was Tatum draining the game winner once I saw this.
INVESTIGATE THIS MAN NOW!!!
Not even a rookie mistake. You should’ve known better
What an idiot. The fact that he was justifying it was stupid as shit too. Wtf
Genuinely one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen
Awful way to go 0-4
Mikel “D-Fox” Brown Jr
De’Aaron Fox school of late game management
Absolute braindead move
Someone missed the finals last year lol
Coach didn’t talk about this during time out??
At first I thought hey, that’s a good attempt and possible putback against Paul George… then I saw the score …
Fox
Someone gotta tell him that tanking isn’t needed anymore
And Tatum cashes in with the winner on the other end. Oops.
Why
The DFox special
I’m not a nets fan and even that hurt me.
Zero Bball IQ
That’s a real tank commander move.
