Why would it probably be longer? The mcl is like the least important ligament in the knee, once the swelling goes down a good brace, which Jaren will have, can do the mcl’s job pretty effectively.

Yes, it can’t be higher than 6, but there’s no circumstance where the Jazz keep it.

That’s just not true.

If you think about a lottery pick as a distribution chart of probabilities of a certain draft position, the probability the Jazz pick is one of the top 5 positions has just now been re distributed to #6.

While yes making it more likely it is #6, not making it more valuable because it caps the value and shifts the probability away from the most valuable positions.

It’s especially impactful for a system that historically skews value towards the top of the draft
