Daily Discussion Thread + Game Thread Index
I will never miss a media personality more than I’ll miss Ernie Johnson.
That finish was ridiculous, but shoutout Mikel Brown Jr. for hitting the tying three with 0.2 left to force OT. Tatum gets the headline with 40 and the buzzer-beater, but that was a fearless shot from the rookie.
Last 2 minute report proves, wolves should be 4-0. League is corrupt. Sponsored by Kalshi
you’re already counting a guy who isn’t even on the roster as a bright spot, that says it all lol
Micah Nori is really good with rotations. So impressed with how he’s able to play 4 point guards real minutes and seemingly at the right times. I think Scoot still needs to be traded so that he can try being a point guard with the ball in his hand like 30+ minutes but this team doesnt need it. I’m showing this rotation tape to Mitch Johnson so he can learn how to manage multiple point guards
Wait why did Nets lose by one?? That score line looks wrong… anyway Scott Foster probably ate some Celtics fan’s tears again lol. This flop tech was criminal. But also can someone explain why the daily discussion link structure is so confusing now? I keep getting redirected to old comments. It’s wild how both the refs and the mods are trolling us simultaneously today. My guy needs better calls AND better UI. 😭
put your hands up for detroit, i love this city
Portland actually winning is a glitch in the matrix.
Traded Dame to build the team he needed
Haha it did kinda work out in the end lol
Not surprising in the least. LA just doesn’t have a good roster outside Luka, Reeves and Kessler.

If a guy flops and goes to the ground then sure call it but the backing up to avoid a foul and getting called for a flop is so bad
Nah. I’d rather over call it than under call it. Just keep it consistent and the guys will adapt. Maybe actually play ethical basketball
I’m cool with that but the flow of some of those games felt pretty bad at certain points
I think I get what they’re doing. They didn’t want them waving their arms and acting like they were almost made to fall over to get the attention of the refs fishing for a call.
Blazers have to be the dark horse for the chip this year.
Portland can’t miss
Only from the FT line
Unbelievable. Please be an outlier.
Gotta be so great for dame
Huh
Thunder will have 50 flopping technicals every game if they call these
Why call flops?–when a guy flops they are out of position.
Just let the offense take advantage of that.
That point aside, why would you want guys to be flailing in the sport?
Make it consistent and it stops the 2nd worst part about the NBA.
You don’t want guys flopping. I just say the best penalty would be to let them flop–and don’t call anything this puts them out of defensive position and let the offense take advantage.
because that isnt penalty enough for trying to “trick” the refs
The refs should be trained better not to be “tricked”.
If they call these retroactively LeBron will have 6700 technicals.
Defense is illegal tonight
They can defend, they just don’t want them to “sell” contact anymore
Refs impacting the game more than the players, epic
