I love how everyone immediately whinges that the refs must be “soft” but whatever he said was enough for Curry to immediately signal for him to be tossed too. Clearly overstepped the mark. Not sure why NBA fans are so obsessed with referee abuse being allowed & acceptable.
There are automatic eject words that if players use they get tossed.

He’s got Draymond on his team, who has been abusing refs for literally years at this point. He seems completely fine with players abusing referees as long as they’re on his team.

Oh yeah, no question Dray gets away with a ton of stuff that some guys can’t, while somebody like Tatum seems to get T’s for looking at the refs funny.

I think he has a good relationship with a lot of refs and has reasonable exchanges with them outside of the blow ups. And I would imagine he keeps things more basketball related and doesn’t make things personal. Obviously not a blanket statement, I’m sure he says some foul shit too, but I’m not sure how else you can explain him getting a long leash with some of his crash outs.

It’s Draymond Green, dude. If anyone DOESN’T deserve the benefit of the doubt when it comes to this shit, it’s him. I’ve seen other players get T’d up for basically nothing and watched this dude scream at the refs for ages and not get tossed.

Nah. I’m just sick of seeing him get away with yelling and screaming at the refs every game, and then watching Jayson Tatum get a tech for clapping his hands at his own mistakes, or watching some other player get T’d up for complaining. The double standard is irritating as fuck. It’s been years of him legitimately yelling at refs and getting away with it, and then watching other players get T’d up for doing a fraction of the yelling that he does.
i agree there’s different standards for players, not just on techs but also normal fouls. not defending draymond either but don’t think holding curry to a standard that no other teammate has been held to is fair

It seems like he lost his 3 after the mid season injury last year. Went from like 45% to shooting like 2⁄10 every game
Not being able to shoot the 3 is big, but even bigger is him continuing to shoot them. Dude is at his best when he goes to the rim but he’s restricted himself to more 3s than 2s this year for god knows why.
The ball movement and passing is so stagnant as well. Honestly he’s just been bad. There hasn’t been a moment this season where he seemed like the best player on the court.
Without Cam and Spence there’s no spacing for him to go in consistently. CB and DeMar lineups let teams just pack the paint
