ball is inbounded to Russell who turns face to face against KD

“You took my family”

moves to the left

“You took my friends”

moves to the right

“You took all that was dear to me”

clock winds down to 2

“I cant get them back, but I can do this for friendship, FOR MY FRIENDS”

goes up, fire coming out of his shoes

“WESTBRUKEN”

Ball flies over KD’s bald spot, goes straight into basket. Russ falls to the ground, exhausted.

“Mo Cheeks… Senpai… I…”

4 | 9 hours ago

Do you think you guys would have any interest in MPJ? They claimed all last year and off-season that they view him as a geniune part of our future, but I kinda doubt that with the way the team has looked so far.

He’s on an expiring and really has been a stud with us so far, not just on the box score. He had a +2.8 EPM (89th percentile) last year, obviously was an incredibly efficient scorer at all 3 levels, and I feel like the Thunder would be a good place for him in terms of his defense being less of a concern when there are strong defenders all around him.

If so, what do you think is reasonable and are the sort of pieces the Thunder would be willing to offer?

As a Yugoslav Nets fan, I would love to get Topic, but we also have a million young guards that we’re already struggling to figure out how to get playing time, so I’m not sure whether (the soon to be unemployed) Sean Marks would even ask for.

I do feel like he’s a guy that should command at least 2 mid 1sts, but I know I’m obviously biased, so interested in hearing what you think.

InformalInitiative76

OKC can’t trade for a player making 20-30 without giving someone like IHart up. The exception for injury is around 14 million.

Additionally, OKC is in the 1st apron so much match salaries in a trade. They’re looking at someone in the 10-15 million range on an expiring contract. Likely giving up topic and sorber for salary match

Or if they want to add someone in the 20-30 range (like Murphy) they would need to give up a starter like IHart plus topic to match the salaries.

Thunder really need a legit PF or a wing man that can mark down. Chet will exclusively be the 4 with Ihart, Jwill, Mara as the 5. I think Mavs players could be targets. Aldama/Washington/Gafford actually fit Caruso money as an example. Or Ihart and Topic can net the Thunder two of Aldama/Washington/Gafford.

Mavs can’t take back more players that they send out. The point is I don’t think NAW is the answer. But Hawks Jalen Johnson is. How many picks would Hawks will accept IHart for Jalen Johnson?
