yeah anytime someone whines about a team having terrible coaching i immediately distrust their basketball takes. occasionally people have in depth critiques that actually make some sense and restore a bit of my trust (although even if you have a reasonable suggestion, that doesn’t mean there aren’t other factors you’re not considering, and it doesn’t mean a coach is a moron for not doing what you’d suggest). most of the time its just emotional fans who somehow think they know more about rotations, timeout timing, or specific players than one of the best coaches in the world who actually interacts with the team regularly knows.
