PUT HIM IN THE 3 POINT CONTEST

NEVA MISSED

It’s like Zion’s first game! Which represents 11% of his career made 3s 7+ years later.

Warriors really became lotto team because they didn’t want to let Kuminga hoop. Sad to see it.

THREE GAMES IS THE SAME AS 82 IN MY HEART

I remember Kyle Korver had some stat in his prime where his 3 point percentage dropped like 15% after taking a single dribble

Some dudes can NOT shoot on the move

The problem is that the ancient 4out rocket system doesn’t work no more. If your corner shooters stay there no matter what, your side helpers can place themselves on the passing lanes more effectively cause they know the trajectory of the kick out. You just had to lure Harden into thinking help was coming.

This is lowkey one of the reasons Golden State beat Houston from that 2018 game 6 Klay onwards. We could just read the ball provided we made Harden kick it out.

His defense gets a little better each year. He’s eliminated a lot of his inconsistency and now there aren’t many places on the floor he isn’t a plus defender.

Plus, he runs like a gazelle when there’s a turnover.

It was always there. He guarded LeBron really well for us one game and then Kerr went back to banishing the guy to the dark realm so he could give Podz more minutes. I wish nothing but success for him after the lack of opportunity we gave him.

How has his off ball defense been?

Kuminga, Jaden, Gobert is soo much better than Julius, Jaden, Gobert it’s night and day

he’s been lockdown at 1 on 1s

My one worry is he had a hot start with Golden State last season also but fell off.

That autotune is goated

Warriors aren’t punching anything rn…we’re passed out on the mat

Not really, his role on the wolves were what the warriors wanted him to be, but he wanted to be like the first option and the ball constantly stop in his hands, falls asleep on defense and doesn’t really rebound the ball well for his size. Hopefully he has found his role and a home and continue to flourish

Edit: remembered that kerr mentioned shawn marion as a target for kuminga to grow into

good for him dude hope he succeeds but i was posting the same about him the start of last season lol

no shade but he was doing rlly well to start last season and ended up reverting back

Kuminga has done this at the start of every season, every time he’s come back from injury, every time he starts getting minutes again after being benched for a while and (now) both of the times he’s joined a new team.

He plays good defense, rebounds, and plays within the flow of the game on offense (moving the ball, cutting, making open 3s) for like 2 weeks before reverting to his chucker, “I’m the star because my agent says so” instincts and stops playing winning basketball.

I like Kuminga and hope that he breaks that cycle and keeps playing this well for the Wolves all season and into the playoffs but history tells us the Wolves will likely be starting Shannon or Ayo by Thanksgiving. The Kuminga cycle is as tried and true as the Buddy Hield cycle at this point.

Not really, I’m just glad he’s gone

He was never going to play this way if he stayed on the Warriors. His contract situations the past 2 seasons have humbled him

Dawg, he’s shooting 7-11 this season. Relax lol

Warriors is a blackhole, look nobody wants to go there, and all the young telants ended up. I blame Dray and Kerr, and management not removing them 5 years ago

Profound comment, I thought he was going to shot 65% before I read this. Thank you.

JK becoming a league-average shooter would be a pretty significant accomplishment.

Agreed. And I think he’ll keep finding his role a bit more. I’m excited to see him in some non-Ant/Melo minutes where he can be a primary scoring option.

…are you guys actually expecting Kuminga to shoot 40% from 3 this season?

respect for Jonathan Broxton
